Nissan 240 sx 1993 (http://fayetteville.craigslist.org/cto/2980372466.html)

I own a Eclipse GSX but I want to get a RWD. I just went to a drift event and want to get into the sport. I have about a 5k budget, mostly because I'm selling my car.
I will have to use the 240 as a daily driver as well.
I saw pics of the interior and the dashboard has some major cracks down it as well as the driver seat has a large rip in it. I could not get the pics on here for some reason.
I do not really like the body kit because it worries me that once I lower it I will be scraping it on every gas station entrance and speed bump I go by.
Is this still a good buy? Or should I be patient and keep looking?

This. I got a car already swapped.... I have very little idea whether most has been done correctly. For instance, I found out last week that it's been running on a 20 year old stock fuel pump all along. I'm just thankful that I don't have little pieces of SR spread along 45 miles of interstate. It also didn't have the turbo nut retainer plates on it... a 12 hour job to rectify (1/2-3/4" gap between mani and turbo FTL). It's things like that, if I had built a stock car myself, I would know for sure what had and hadn't been done, and what, if any, shortcuts or equivalencies were taken.

My suggestion, buy a beater and learn on it. You'll crash it many times before you know what you are doing. No to mention be out of a DD. Keep your car and use the 240 for sliding.
