do i need my heat sheild?

sorry if this has been asked, i searched but could not find anything.

do i need my heatsheild on my t28? its the one that covers the wastegate actuator arm. its on a s13 coupe if that matters.

Do you want to block your parts from heat? I would prefer to. Small questions thread.

Keep it on. It will block a small amount of heat from hitting your break master cylinder, ect. If it looks like crap take it off, clean it up and put it back on.
