North Texas Drifters Meet

Inviting all DFW, North Texas and even OK drifters to come out to meet each other and enjoy lunch/dinner at Philly Steak and Deli in Euless. As many of you know the first Texas Drift session will be held on Feb.29th @ Pennington Field. After the 'meet and eat' we're going to caravan to Penington Field ( It's close to the deli location) and check out our playground ; ) Come out and give some input on track layouts, practice areas, staging and pit areas, etc...Even if you aren't a drifter yet and you are interested, come out and it'll be a great way to get into the scene...

cant make it to the meet and eat cuz i work on saturdays, but im definitely gonna try and make it to Pennington on the 29th. wont be driving because i have no idea how to drift, but itd be fun to hang out anyways.

Well I've had my 240sx for a total of about two days, I have no clue how to drift on dry ground, but what the hell? I guess I can show up and give it a shot.

So I assume that the meet was canceled due to snow? The deli place was closed, and nobody was at Pennington Field. It's a HUGE lot though, plenty of room for a nice course.

HaHa, Im gonna try. I just started drifting. Im not good or anything but I really want to get better. Hey Wong, where do you live in Dallas? I stay in Valley Ranch.

Yeah, I need to get alot better, but its hard to find places to practice...I live in Rowlett....

Thats cool, I know where Rowlett is. Not too far from downtown dallas. So I guess theres not really a big drift scene here. I dont even know anyone else that owns a 240 haha. Wong, we should meet up sometime and go drift somewhere. Your goin to Pennington field though right?

Agh, out of town, missed the 21st. I'll be there at Pennington though. Probably going to show up right at 9 and spectate. No way I'm even trying to drift with that stupid HICAS in the way. Maybe next time.

Doesn't seem like a problem to me...you even have VLSD...just give it a shot, there might be a practice track there...
