you guys wont beleive what happened in my girlfriends apartment building recently...

she and her mother pay $40 each a month to pay for underground parking, the money goes to maintain camera survailance as well...

well the other night her car got broken into and they stole her sony explod deck adn smashed her window, she was extremely upset not just becasue of the deck but because she had to pay 350 to get a new window...

she complained to the super and he said nothing, they wont even check the cameras because as i have learned... cameras are not meant to catch anyone and the footage is useless no matter what...

well then it turns out the 9, yes 9 other cars were broken into that night and had stuff go missing, whether it be decks, or what have you... still the building claims no responsibility, the police wont do a thing and it turns out that they did check the camera and still arent doing anything,

there is more, other cars were broken into last year before she lived there causing people to park outside ever since and with no problems as of yet....

AND....... one of the people whose car was broken into was a young woman who happens to be a hair dresser... any ways she had a bag in her car full of haircare stuff or something her car was broken into because tehy thought it was something valuable, well it wasnt... so they came back a night or so later and slashed her fucking tires.....

they had the nerve to risk it all again just to slash a poor girls tires because whe didnt have anything worth stealing??????

still nothing is being done, obviously this is an inside job as in inside the building, as in the criminals live there, and they probably know each of the people since they do live there, how can you explain slashing the tires, i can see stealing stuff but this is to fucked, whats more is it is in a very good neighbourhood with high rent, so WTF i say.... WTF

it's the security people i tell you. p.s. yo g/f could of saved w/ used glass and do-it-yourself gismo.

i kinda feel her pain, 5 days after i got my s13 (about 3 month ago) i got my window smashed, 'cause someone was tryin' to jack my car or somthing, but the alarm went off (5 am in the morning), and i wake up next day w/ my window broken.

i spent 40 bucks on a used window from a junk yard, and got a couple cuts on my hand. but i saved about 180 bucks

That's pretty horrible. Personally, I would call the attourney general's office and explain the situation. I'm sure that they would be able to do something about it.

Thats a shame she should try to get the tenants together as a mass and force the building owner or the superintendant to make some sort of reperation.

The cost of the window and difficulty of the repair are really no big deal here. The bigger issue is how severely F'D UP the entire situation is! Everything is just so... wow, I mean, I can't believe it.

Call the police. Get them involved. I got the police involved in an incident involving my car and the security where I work, but I won't bother with the story now because it pales in comparison. The point is, the police actually showed up and seemed to care; security got helpful right quick.

If anything like this ever happens to anyone, threaten the business with the Better Business Bureau. Tell them that you'll file a complaint and if they still don't do anything, break into their cars and slash their tires. Then they'll know how it feels like to get funcked. ; )

hmmm. I'd read over the lease. If it mentions ANYWHERE that the landlord will maintain the survelance equipment, bust down on them for breaking the lease Retalliation won't do much good, but that is just fucked up

I would stay out one night or leave a video camera viewing a few cars.

Then I would stay out one night with my paintball gun and shot the fuck out of them.

Obviously, someone is being helped through the inside.
I would scope it out at night.
Be cautious of the people that didn't get there cars broken into.
That really sucks, especially if your actually paying for servaillance.
Ask for your money back for all the months that were paid for.
Fuck it. take them to court. Call Johnny Cochren.

full auto BB gun w an air tank (no pumping) paintball don't hurt much, #### i'd stand there and let you hit me 20 times for a free cd player but not a bb gun...ouch! Man screw the paintball gun. I'd be sitting in my car waiting with my riot gun. About the time he drew his arm back to bust my window I'd blow it off his head would follow. My truck got broken into one time and since then the gun is always loadded with one round of bird shot and the rest with hollow point slugs. First round makes em scream so I know where to shoot again.
