My car was Stolen in North hollywood on May 8, 2012

1991 240sx with KA24DET

-megan racing coilovers
-(4)17x10.5 torque thrust copies
-megasquirt EMS
-cx racing SR20 radiator with plumbing to fit KA
-Custom top feed fuel rail with rx7 550's
-Blue subframe spacers
-Chrome RUCAs, Toe Rods, traction rods.
-J30 5 lug, front and rear with brakes.
-Custom shotened knuckles
- 1 tein tension rod and 1 chinese tension rod in front.
-kouki tail lights
-big wangan wing

Supposedly seen in Riverside/ Perris.

Man this sucks i live in sherman oaks and drive past noho area a lot. I always see shady ricers eye focking my car, ill keep an eye out for it, hope you get it back man.

Yeah his car was found stripped. They took the engine trans engine harness coilovers headlight basically a lot of the good stuff that sucks though :/ they wanted 350$ to get the car out but he said it wasn't worth it.

It will go up for auction this Tuesday. It will start out low in the bidding if no one bids high it will sell for as little as $300 it all depends on who is at the auction. If the OP wants his chassis back he could have some friends go bid on it and get it.

Anytime a car is stolen it has to be recovered and put in an impound lot, till the owner and the insurance company decide what to do. Impound lots charge for the storage time. It may sound fucked up but its standard business.

Sure it is fucked up. My buddys car got recovered, still had to pay the city release fee - $100 (also it was left in a handicap parking spot, but got the ticket dismissed). SO, basically for whatever You buy the car, the fees will be on top of the price. And unclaimed vehicle's fees might go to the owner - if no one buys it. Unless insurance covers it, but if You only have liability - You're fucked. I believe so.

As for my tow experience - i went back the very next day, and they still charged me towing, and 3 DAYS automatically, + the release fee and some other bogus fees.
