These threads are stupid. Call your insurance and find out. Too many variables

Get a 4 cylinder honda accord. Trust me on it, you're better off waiting 2 or 3 years and then reselling for exactly what you'd paid for.

My first car I've owned as a 1985 Toyota Celica GT-S. I live in California and this $700 car still cost me $1200 to insure because I was 18. But hell, it was the best car for me to drive RWD.

These threads are totally pointless. Like somebody said, call an agent and get a quote. That is their job.

Im an insurance agent and I have learned to never guess. Your credit, driving history, location, garaging location, liability limits, etc. etc. etc. all affect rates and no two situations are the same.

i didn't think credit history plays a part in it, but i guess the insurance companies have to factor in the money they lose on dead beat customers who pay by installments.

to the people telling me to call my insurance agent, i cant because im under my parents insurance now, and the insurance company hasent picked up that i have a license, it says theres only 2 drivers in my house, my mom and dad, so if i call and let them know theres an 18 year old driving on it to its gonna jack the price way up. i was just looking for some ideas to what i would have to pay

NJ and NYC has some of the most expensive insurance in the US. I was paying $280 a month for full coverage for my S14 when I was 21 in NJ.

Liability insurance is garbage.

Why the fuck not? Most your insurance will give you no more than $3000 to write off S14s nowadays. Even less for S13s. Save whatever money you get from your insurance to cover your ass when you need to fix the car.
