so here they are, finally in my posession. after i thought i had changed my order to 8.5R and 7.5F widths, they still sent me my original order:
17x8.5JJ +25 front and 17x9.5JJ +30 rear, and i must say, they are sexxxxxayy biotches! tires are kumho 712's 225/45 front and 245/45 rear.

They look great from those angles. I can't wait to get mine on but it may be a month or two. I can't afford tires, lugnuts and wheel studs right now. It's still snowing in my area anyway. :-/
As for your question in the group buy thread, I 'think' the 16's only came in one offset for each width, but I'm not sure if that's true.. I got the 7.5 and 8.5 which are (runs downstairs and looks at the boxes) 22 and 37.

suspension is apexi world sports coilovers, everything else is stock. all camber/caster/toe settings are stock (or whatever they've worked themselves into being over the years).
i have camber plates for the front (not installed yet) and RUCA's on the way for the rear. i'm on my way outside now to attempt to roll the fenders. wish me luck :-/

to touring240, they are the 30mm (TT) calipers, and there's a shit-ton of room in there between the caliper and wheel.
to 95koukiS14, i have no clue what the color is called. i used to think it wasn't a factory color until i saw a few other S13 coupes in this color. all i know is i like it:D

I like the look too, and even though I could get away with it now (sleepy eyes on a completely stock car = :ghey: IMO), the light output is... um... almost nonexistant. With the sealed beams you need all the light you can get.
I actually prefer the look of fully open headlights to sleepy eyes myself... :mepoke:

I think 9.5 width +30 might be flush with wider front fenders but I think 8.5 width +15 should be flush with stock fenders...? I think....

8.5 +25 is flush with the stock fenders... 8.5 +15 sticks out 10mm more and 9.5 +30 sticks out 8mm more, so with more negative camber you could fit them under the fenders. The only problem is coilover clearance (with the 9.5s). There's no way a 9.5 +30 will clear coilovers (EDIT: to clear up any confusion, I should've said they won't clear coilovers in the front only), you'd need to run spacers. For the rear with fender flares, you'd have to go with 9.5 +30 with spacers...
I guess the real question is, if you want to run 8.5 F and 9.5 R, what's the point of the flares when they fit under the stock fenders?

So basically F 8.5 with 15+ will fit front flush with camber and will clear coilovers?
And Rear 9.5 with 30+ will clear coilover?

i was planning to have 8.5f n 9.5r with the flares would it be wiser to just go 9.5 all around with +30 offset and what size of spacers would i need? the flares are the same ones jdmrice had on his car before he turned it into the strawberry face.

And Rear 9.5 with 30+ will clear coilover?
8.5 +25 will be flush as well if you want to run a more stockish camber (like between -1 and -2.5 degrees), 8.5 +15 will be a lot more negative camber... and they will clear coilovers. 9.5 +30 will also clear coilovers, you think I got a 1 finger gap in the rear and 0-1/2 finger gap in the front with AGXs and sportlines? :wiggle: :rawk:

I think JDM Rice's flares are 30mm, so maybe a 20 or 25mm spacer depending on how much camber you want to run...

Not in the front with the majority of coilovers.
That's why I said in post #50 that they wouldn't clear coilovers in the front.

8.5 +15 and 8.5 +25 will clear coilovers in the front... 9.5 +30 will not, you'll need to use spacers.
8.5 +15, 8.5 +25, and 9.5 +30 will all clear coilovers in the rear.
So these sizes will work with close to stock camber settings, right? F 17x8.5 +25 and R 17x9.5+30. Will it be flush in the rear if I roll the rear fenders? I plan on doing it anyway.

I am curious why people that ordered 17x9.5's and 17x8.5's aren't going with a wider tire? I just ordered 17x8.5's +30 for the rear. I plan on running a 275/40/17 drag radial with these rims. How come everyone else got like 225 or 235? Didn't want as much tire in the back or...am I missing something? I mean if people just didn't want wide tires I can understand that but is there a different reason why people didn't get wider?

im getting 215/40 for my 17x8.5 in front and 225/40 for 17x9.5. for me, id like to reduce sidewall flex to get better reponse in cornering (im not much of a drag racer). i think everyone is getting smaller size tires for the same reason.

You're right, my bad. The +35 and +37 isnt as flush and I guess is intended for the rear wheels in a staggered setup. Kind of bad if you want to run 16x8.5 all arround because you couldnt clear coils without a spacer.

Does anybody notice on M2's website, they don't have a single pic of the rim on an S14 rear? Both galleries (16" and 17") only show how the front looks. I don't consider the side shot of the yellow S14 accurate since they used 45mm spacers to get that 16x8.5 all around look.
I am wondering how a 17x8.5 all around setup would look on an S14, and what kind of offset would make it look flush plus clear Z brakes + coilover. Any ideas?

17x8.5 +25 front with 235/45
17x9.5 +30 rear with 255/40
all with tein HEs
some information for you s14 owners:
the rears were rubbing the outer fender just EVER so slightly so i had to roll them. other than that they are absolutely perfect. they also still have what looks like a 1.5" clearance between the tire and the coilover.
the fronts are a bit more picky. i am rubbing the inner fender linings just barely so im just going to remove all of the plastic POS. however, the tires clear the HEs but they are mighty close to them. since i do quite a bit of open lapping im having a 4mm plate spacer made just to move the tire a little bit more away from the coilover. im doing this as i am kinda worried about the tire flex while really pushing the car around the corners. the spacer should also bring the fronts out just a little more and make them look like the rears.
other than that they are really nice rims. are they better than my ideal professor sp1s? well obviously no, but the price/satisfaction ratio definately makes these rims worth it.
