I'm pretty close to ordering them....just wondering if any other springs are good...I'm just a daily driver.

which springs are you thinking of getting? the S21, DR21, or DR21 Supersports? if you're just using them as a daily driver then you might find the DR21 Supersports too stiff. IMO too stiff for a daily driver (IIRC 4.4kg/front, 3.8kg/rear), then you gonna need to find some well dampened struts/shocks to match up w/ them.

I will put the s21 tomorrow! The rate is F4.6 R4.0.

either get the KG/MM dampers to go with them or the Tokico HTS's both of which are short stroke dampers designed for uprated springs that lower and stiffen your suspension. KYB AGX's are really good but they are stock travel height. which can induce bump steer if use with lowering springs

To figure out what a KG/MM Rating is in LBS/IN just times the KG by 56.

So...

4.4kg/mm = 246 lbs/in
3.8kg/mm = 212 lbs/in

Now IMHO, that is WAAAY to soft. My old 5Zigen Springs were 290/280 and they were just right, but to each his own. I like stiff.

I will be ordering my Zeal B-6's in a custom Spring rate of 6.5 kg/mm Front and 5.5 kg/mm Rear. Which would be 364/308 lbs/in.

Why not Eibach Pro-Kits? I think they have been universally praised, don't require special dampers, and firm the ride w/o harshness.

pro-kits are almost exactly the same spring rates as stock.

I got H&R springs for my s14 because I like the stiffness but not to harsh or to low for a daily drive in the north with the potholes and bumps in teh roads. I love my H&R's. I got them from the "House of imports" guy on ebay. I think he is selling a set right now for like $190 or so.

i can't tell you the spring rates for stock springs and prokits, but i do know that my handling is drastically improved after the install, which is all that really matters
