Hey guys, I just picked up what I thought was the differential off of a 92 n/a 300zx (automatic). When I finally get it home and open all the packaging, there are no distinguishing marks. I've never worked with these so I just wanted to make sure this is in fact the VLSD. It doesn't have the orange sticker, but it does have the ABS sensors and the cooling fins. Anyway if it is a r200v, then what will it take to put this in my 95 240sx without the VLSD? I searched and found out the I can use the output shafts from an VLSD equipped s14, or I can use the axles off of another car (this is where I am unsure). Anyway, I need the most inexpensive way to fit this to my car, so which way would be the cheapest?
Thanks everyone.

Yea, looks like a Z32 diff to me. They are all VLSD, so no need to guess. If you really want to find out, take off the back cover and look inside. You'll most likely have to do this anyway when you install it, and change the oil while you're at it.

Cool, thanks for the help guys. So I guess the axle way is the cheapest. I was also wondering what I should ask for when I order the parts. I have a friend that works at Firestone, and said he can get parts like that at wholesale for me. Should I just ask him to get me the rear drive axles for a 94 J30? Or what else do you call them? I know on some of my cars they were called CV axles. Anyway thanks again guys!
