ok so i got a sr20det redtop and i just pulled a running ka24de out of a 92 shell I am putting the sr in. the car was completey stock and ran fine( car was a automatic but i converted it to 5speed). i also bought brand new top and bottom specialty made wiring harnesses off of fhclassified.com. so i thought it would be plug and play and should run with no problems. but after i did the swap, the INJECTORS WOULD SPRAY WEIRD(all at once) and i was getting NO SPARK...... what could it be. i tried changing ignitor chips but no difference. i also over tightened my ecu screw and it broke lol. do you think that has anything to do with the problem? but i been stumped on this for a while. i could use all the help i can get. ANY SUGGESTIONS????????... COULD IT BE THE ECU or something totally different. i have a multimeter but dont really know what to check......

get the factory survice manual. read it and test items accordingly. i would likely look very closely at the wiring harnesses you had made.

You will have to check and see if you have power going to your ignitor and check if your getting power to your CAS. if you have no power there is your problem!!

This happened to my friends rb. It ended up being the ecu

Lmk if u need a igniter chip. I have one

If u want to start tracing wires, make sure the injector signal is coming from the injector signal pin on the ecu. Map it from inj clip back if u can. at least it will tell you the ECU is controller the funky spray

Heres the funny thing about my situation. All of my injectors are spraying and the injectors aren't even hooked up.

Be sure u have the right ecu... drive me mad for days to fire up my sr20det cause a friend put the stupid KA ECU in >_< and happen the same thing.... no spark O_o, if u can test it with another ecu from a runing sr20det will be neato.

Any one whos actually intelligible on this subject have any input? Is there a certain pin/coresponding wire that is that could share a common ground between all four injectors and cause them to fire/ stay open? I know there are the individual injector grounds and the two ecu grounds I just don't know which of those could cause such an issue.

The injectors are spraying and they aren't even hooked up? Sounds like you have some stuck injectors or bad orings. Test the injectors with a multimeter for resistance... They should be between 10 - 12 ohms.. Also what is the number on your ecu?

It's a #62 A11-000-G90. I feel they are stuck open because that was the last signal they receive before I pull the signal harnesses. I'll be picking up a noid light tonight. Was so pissed I forgot to run 12v to see if they would even click over.

Pins 107, 108, 116 are the injector ground pins. Should that be a continuous groung from the ecu to frame or intermittent as decided by the ecu?
