I've finally decided to part out instead of fix my car. For a complete list and pics of the car see:
EPiK Motorsports Project: Sleepy Princess (http://www.epikmotorsports.com/sitehome/sleepy_page.html)

I may decide to part her out partially and put her back together as a "Stock" 180SX, but make me an offer on the other parts not listed. The oil pump in the SR went south and I had insufficient pressure at high RPMs and spun one of the bearings (still haven't pulled the engine to see which one yet)

I have a new project I want to start, so everything is for sale including the chassis for the right price.

If you are interested in any of these parts or others listed in her spec list, let me know by emailing me at: [email protected]

Here's what I'm selling immediately:
Prices don't include shipping.
I can take Paypal, Cashiers Check or Money Orders.
I also can take credit card payments.

If any of you have tried to email me in the past 12 hours or so... since about 1am EST this morning... I accidentally deleted a bunch of messages this morning trying to work out the remote email from work. If you haven't gotten a response to your email this is probably what happened.

The engine and the Tomei BOV I'm keeping. Same with the engine internals. I will probably rebuild the engine with a new oil pump and sell it as a drop in swap rather than take the loss on selling it needing a rebuild.

The A'PEXi turbo timer, and the Tomei BOV are going on my new project pretty much right away.
As far as the sound of the Tomei BOV??? Imagine a Turbo XS RFL that had some balls to it. It's bassier and has a fullness to it, next to it the RFL on my friend's WRX and another friend's Eclipse sound hollow in comparison.
:D

Due to an issue with my ISP this weekend, most of my mail ended up getting bounced. If you did try to contact me with an offer, please resend them.

A note on my pricing:
These are my personal parts, but they have been professionally installed and removed from the car by my shop, EPiK Motorsports. All parts have been inspected and are in good condition aside from a minor amount of normal wear. This car was daily driven and driven to events to display our workmanship, but never driven competatively. If you're looking for high quality parts in good condition for a reasonable price, then email me. But if you're looking for a "deal" because of someone else's misery, I'm not that desperate to sell this stuff.

It was brought to my attention that some of the retail pricing has been lowered since I did my research. I've done some more looking online and as a result, I've updated some of the prices.

I have it marked at $400 for pickup. Cash in hand at a weak moment might save you a little more.

Hey Ken... long time no see :)

Been really busy lately... Jeff and I are now the only ones working at the shop so my nights are pretty full.

I'm going FC3S I think. The SR will go back into Sleepy and she'll be rebuilt and returned to stock 180SX specs for a quick sale.

The blanks are yours... my new AIM is DoriftWolf so send me a message.

I'll try to get over to HTM tonight and post a heya and my parts list.

I'm just selling off the upgrades and leaving the chassis as is. It's in immaculate condition and I have the parts to return it to "stock". I'm keeping the bumper lights, the Nismo mounts, the rear center section.

I'm planning on rebuilding the SR, but we have a KA24DE that could be put back into it as well, but it seems such a shame to do that.

It will be a running car in a couple of months time once I've had a chance to pay off some of the SR20DEBT she's put me through for the last couple of years. I'm planning on just buying another car and putting this project to rest.

If that's you Vaughn, then I've sent you an email, I'll do $285 shipped to cover the paypal and some of the shipping fees.

If it's not, I think I have an agreement to sell them but if that falls through, I'll take $285 shipped by FedEx ground if you're using Paypal or CC.

thanks

I'll email these to you too, but I thought I'd post them. I've only got these two angles, and this was just after the turbo was pulled from the car, so please forgive the dirt. I haven't taken any pics since I cleaned it up so Ihave some better pics with multiple angles and show the dump pipe as well in the next couple of days. (tomorrow night is test and tune night if the weather behaves)

http://www.epikmotorsports.com/sitehome/test/gt2530_01a.jpg

Lined up with my buddy's GT2510 and a KKK turbo from a Porsche 944.

http://www.epikmotorsports.com/sitehome/test/gt2530_02a.jpg

When we shut down the car, it used to be one of our favorite demonstrations of the differences between ball bearing and normal turbos. When the turbo timer finally kicked off after about 5 mins of cool down idle, even after the electric fans finally wound down, you could still hear the turbo spinning audibly for about 45 seconds.

No probs with the thread hijack if the mods don't have a problem with it. :)
I'll keep this brief but if a more in depth post is wanted, then I'll post it in the appropriate forum. Now that the car is apart, I'll try to remember to snap some pics of certain details at the shop today.

A few technical details.
-An X brace of some kind is required on the nose of the car, we lost a lot of stiffness in the nose of the car, which did affect handling.
-The single fan is not enough airflow through the radiator at idle, we switched to duel 12" fans which covered enough of the surface to keep the air temps down.
-Hard radiator piping is used where possible with traditional soft radiator hose being used on the joints and bends.
-Radiator resivoir is where the stock intake resonator used to be, hard to see in most of the pics.
-This setup was very effective for cooling. Engine temps on the Power FC were in the 78 degrees celcius for normal highway running at night in fall in SC. Daytime driving in traffic hit about 85 degrees celcius. Peaks above 90 degrees were rare after the duel fans were added.
-Lag was insignificant. We didn't ever have this car dyno tuned, but my partner's car with the GT2510 had NO lag when it was properly tuned. The car felt like it was all motor except that it just kicked harder and harder. On the stock Power FC map on this car, the turbo hit at about 2900 rpm and just pulled like hell from that point on, running pig rich in the process.
-For the skeptics, the engine issues that this car had were oiling issues caused by a former employee's incompetance in leaving shop towels in the block when cleaning and reassembling it. We caught it before any major damage occured, but it was enough to kill the oil pump and two sets of bearings. We were letting him practice on our personal cars, so his workmanship never affected our customers thankfully.
