Yes, in 2010 we ran a few events with the ISIS coilovers.

They are obviously not Ideal for Professional racing, but we wanted to make sure they worked.

For the money they are an awesome entry level coilover. they are on a Ton of pro-am cars and street cars.

I was under the car yesterday putting new control arms on. When I lowered it off the jack my FL strut wasn't compressing. I put a little weight on the front and it went to rest as it should. I'm getting a creaking sound on low speed turns too. It's all kind of strange, dampening feels fine still when pushing it around turns.

Have you heard of this happening at all?

They are about a year old and don't see any track use. I did hit a wicked pothole that I think started the whole thing off.

Any thoughts/advice? Is there a decent way to test the strut?

I havent heard of any issues like that. Hitting a bad hole can do things to just about anything. struts on a car in general are a wear item. But email me directly and we will see if we can find a way to get you taken care of.

Creaking sounds on low-speed turning? That would be due to your spring popping. It's common depending on how you setup your coilovers per your preference/height without roller-bearing-rings. Fortune Auto took the time to do a video describing some common issues and guidelines for setting up your coilovers. This information will apply to all brand coilovers, including ISIS. When they're describing the popping noises from pre-load you can also run roller-bearing-rings that mount below/above the spring on the perches and allow it to rotate without binding. Don't worry, chances are you're hearing these noises and your ISIS coilovers are just fine :)
