Sometimes the clutch works fine other times it doesnt. After I use it for a little while the clutch pedal wont go all the way up.. the mc and sc are good they are both brand new and dont leak. I havent removed the diaphram inbetween the mc and the sc yet. my throw bearing makes noise cause its old but I dont care I have to get my clutch working good before tonight I have an important race with a saleen I have and can beat but not with witness's. Okay when you say you use it for a little while, do you mean just casual driving, or hard driving? Also running low 12s means you've got some serious power there, is the Clutch kit up to the task? I mean can it handle all that torque? You might need to replace the clutch and pressure plates and definitely get a new throw out bearing. You could pick all this up in a clutch kit easy. while I know it's not a quick fix, but I would just tell the Saleen to wait a week or so until you can get the problem fixed, that way the race will be fair. You can pick up a stage III clutch kit from Enjukuracing.com for about 260.00 bucks!! Just a suggestion.

Good luck, whoop those domestics!!

You know... this sounds like a DSM CrankWalk problem. Really and truly it sounds similar to when an Eclipse crankwalks.

You MIGHT want to contact a DSM forum and find out how they check for crankshaft play easiest.
