What happened to the quality of people on this forum? First of all, what are you doing taking advice from some over the counter, minimum wage making autozone lackey? Second of all, how hard is it to just search for the shiet and find a reputable shop that carries it. Last, how hard is it to spell "carry" and "water wetter." ;)

I think the people are here are nice, provided you just search a little on your own....its not cool to be defenseless and I think you are maybe lazy about more than spelling maybe you are too lazy to search, and judging by your Sig that sounds like it's your life motto...also, its not cool to act like an ass when someone corrected you on the spelling and order of words by saying it's really "watter wetter." I am not trying to be a prick, but seriously you need to lighten up and just not have an attitude problem, because when you are cool to people on here and don't act like a prick you can get some really good info. Also, don't take everything everyone says to heart or immediately think they are being jerks because there is such a thing called sarcasm.

The reason ppl act like an a hole is because the older members had to actually do WORK by researching. All you have to do is type in REDLINE on yahoo or google and you can find what you need. Older members just get annoyed when people(a lot of ppl) basicaly ask for hand outs.
As for water wetter, it does work and it's a good product from what I've heard. A couple of my friends run it in their midget cars.

he just wants some info from someone who used it and u can order it from summit racing. if it really dried out seals do you think redline would tell you in the discription, no it d be in little letters on the back of the bottle next to do not drink..... yah i think alot of people in here jump on u for shit pretty easy, and searching doesnt always work very well. cause there are alot of other posts where no one got alot of information just alot of b.s.ing
btw i was wondering too, i heard its bad for seals and the water pump. but i dunno

the reason i get so pissed. is every time i ask for something here i get sh*t for no reason. so what i didn't go searching for something. there are plenty of things i do go searching for and if i had information that could help someone out i would tell them i don't really care if it took me months to find the information if i knew it i would give it because i don't think that they should have to go through all that if they could get it somewhere easier and I don't think that a simple link was asking all that much. But hey IM sorry I was so defensive. But I don't need to be called a tool or openly mocked for spelling just because I asked for something besides I didn't know it was made by redline and I thought it was wetter water not water wetter I went to autozone to read the bottle.
as far as my quote is concerned it goes off the hole idea that if you work hard and make a company more money you yourself will never see a penny of that and in my experience not even a nice job well done, so what it is, is why work hard for someone if that someone is not willing to work hard for you? dose it make more since to you now? and YES IM LAZY so are you so is everyone I know. and one last thing just so I can get it off my chest. What is a forum for? is it not to pass back and forth useless and useful information to uniformed people, and to just basically chat about what can and cant be done and, etc., that's what I thought it was for, my bad.

YES IM LAZY
Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.
Too lazy to spend 60 seconds on a google search? That's pretty fucking lazy.

Well, you're not off to a very good start with that post, lol. Two BIG pet-peeves on ALL boards, not just this one. Try hanging out in a programming forum sometime, you'll know the meaning of a-hole then.
You need to learn to stop being so lazy because people aren't going to respond well to that. There's no reason you can't find this info on your own, it would take me about 15 seconds to find a place to buy water wetter from google, no exaggeration.

why is everyone in this forum an a hole about answering people
The answer to your question is here:
Its more fun to talk shit to people on this forum than spoon-feed answers to bastards who are too lazy and/or ignorant to search or try to find something by themselves. ;)
------
This is the way *I* see it, take my post for what its worth. Back in 1996 wonderful forums like this didnt exist, instead we had the 240SX.org AMAROK mailing list. I would have to weed through hundreds of messages and read most of them. Nowadays, all you tools have to do is click on search, visit FreshAlloy, or Google and you will eventually find what you are looking for. On the other hand, back in the 1996 the 240SX wasnt popular and there wasnt nearly this much information available and on the Internet.
So now you walk up with your lazy non-spelling ass and you think we are supposed to run up and answer your questions as if we're getting paid, like this is our job? Nope. For me, I have friends on this forum that I've known for years and I enjoy reading and trading info.. but not spoon-feeding answers, there's a difference.
And guys, dont be so touchy about what people say.. just because something thinks your Borla exhaust sucks or your LED tail lights are crap, its just an OPINION.. when you talk, people respond.. if YOU like it then cool, but dont take everything so personal. Most people here speak from experience.. so if something sucks its probably because someone has already been there and done that.
Im done ranting.. I own all of j00. ;)

[b]insert book chapter here
Old s13 said it right. I'm right with him. When I joined zilvia, there were like 50 members.. no joke. We all asked questions, helped eachother, learned, ect. Now there are 15,000 members, and about 50 know what the hell they're talking about. Most of those are specialized people, some know rims, others know engines, engines are separated into KA and SR gurus, Dousan the suspension/drift master. Now, there are 50 people that learned and tried things to gain knowledge, and 14,950 people that leech information. 95% of the information about a 240sx can be found by searching Zilvia and Freshalloy. Google can get you the other 3%. Then people like AceinHole need to try crazy things and enlighten us with the last 2%. So you really have no leg to stand on when you ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer, and the next time you call a moderator an a hole, I'll ban your ass.
