hey guys, i got a bit of a problem here. Okay, so long story short, i have a '95 and a '96 240sx, on the 96 i have a set of KYB struts and springs, and im trying to put them on the 95. And yes i have tried to research a solution but i have found nothing to help me.

The problem is, the 2 bolt holes that hold the spindle to the strut are not lining up. The holes in the strut are too far down. Although there is some play in the control arm to push it down but not enough to get them to line up. ( PICS below to show exactly )

:wtf:
So am i doing something wrong? Or do i need to push down harder on the control arm? I've been at this for a couple of days and im stuck... All advice is greatly appreciated.

I shouldn't be that hard to put on.

You sure they are the right ones?

When doing the fronts, remove both the driver's side & the passenger side. It should completely drop the control arm & the knuckle.

If you've already done that, then idk. S13/S14 have no real difference other than the size of the bolt needed in those two mount holes.

disconnect the swaybar end links, then you will be able to push control arm down low enough to push bolts through.
