good luck with your build. But on zilvia...to post a build thread...means you are almost finished with the car. Zilvia doesn't want to see "starter" build threads, as almost 90% of them don't complete, or sell the car by then. So please don't get mad, and understand there are different rules on here. This WILL get locked.

yeah i've always noticed this about zilvia. I dont really care if people want to see a finished product. I personally like to see a car progress. But hey these people can hate if they want. The intake manifold is functional and delivers the same amount of air to all cyls. It was designed and created in Okinawa by a good buddy of mine. This is not my first RB swap. This is my second car with an RB swap. The only thing i left i need to buy is my fuel pumps. I also need fabrication for the intercooler piping and exhaust. I will post up the parts i have on here by the end of the night.

You are not going to get that chance because your not done or even close to it. The thread wont stay unlocked long enough for you to finish that car.

I will be doing the 5 lug conversion, brakes, rear diff, and putting on my wheels not this weekend if my brake lines come in.

this is the problem with build threads:
1) too much unfinished business
2) mediocre, cookie cutter builds

we need to implement a voting system for builds. 50% and up = keep. 50% or lower = lock. at the very least, it will push people to adhere to a standard of quality as opposed to just posting up <s12 build> <girl car painted> <etc>

yeah i agree with you, thursday7. not my decision on if the thread gets locked. I'm gonna continue to update the build on this car until it does get closed.

50% (or more) of voters vote to KEEP thread
or
50% (or more) of voters vote to LOCK thread

i am not saying your build does not have potential, but you need to go about it in the right way... setup a nice camera instead of showing these blur-shots, put more detail into what you're working on. Like i said, no offense at all... but all I see are a bunch of blurry photos of parts you've acquired.

For those of you with sub-50 posts. Stop trying to argue. ixfxi is right so far, no building has been posted. This is a parts collection thread. People are "butt-hurt" because they are expecting something when they visit your thread, and currently, it doesn't deliver. As for the double posting and just re-typing quotes (Thursday7 and George A) don't know what that's all about.

All we're saying is put some thought into your thread before you start it. It looks like you are just trying to find pictures of THINGS you have to justify lack of content. BUILD something before you call this a build thread.

This is why I hate build threads, people post a picture of a car, a few parts and a list of hopes/dreams/lofty plans and no actual building takes place, then 50,000,000,000 people complain about it, thereby ruining the thread, but ironically still keeping it at the top of the forum page.
So while I generally dislike ALL build threads for the most part, this one is to the point where I will just close it.
