Hello all,

So I lowered my car(1996 zenki with stock ka) and wound up rubbing through a few wires on my main wiring harness on the driver side. It caused my car to turn itself off while I was pulling through the gas station I was at and then died and haven't turned back on since.
There is about 7 wires that have been affected by the rubbing in the wheel well, and I have fixed/replaced them all. All connections are good.

So I go to my fuse box and the 7.5amp fuse for the EGI relay is popped. I take out another fuse of 7.5 and the second it touches, it pops again. So clearly I have a big short somewhere along the line.

So today I take apart my fuse box enough to get under the EGI fuse and see what wires are connected to it. One of the wires is a thick white with pink line that goes to a 100amp fuse next to the EGI fuse. From there, it then goes directly to the positive terminal on the battery for the car. So I am guessing that is a power wire.
The other wire runs along the whole engine bay up through the cabin, and then behind the dash into the ignition. So I am assuming that this is a remote wire to tell the other wire when to turn on.

After assessing both of these wires, seeing that they have good connections everywhere, I tried to put a 7.5amp fuse back in it today, and same old situation. Pops the second it touches with the metal.

So I am back at square one and am very lost now as for what to do next. I am looking for help with ideas, suggestions, similar experiences, anything!!

Thanks for reading guys, hopefully I will get some help from this!
