It was my first time @ a NISSAN event (former civic owner) It was a really suttle spot. nice area plenty of nice people. funny ass r/c drift with that silvia widebody and the lady security hassling everyone. BTW who was the dumbass in the riced out S14 with all the decals that belonged on a 4-door civic doin burnouts when he left. met some new peeps saw some old ones Irwin and Henry's S14s are intimidating...
post pics and opinions of the days events

welcome to the club mate.
i really cant figure out why people INSIST on revving up to 6k as they leave the meet. or even worse is, like you pointed out, the people who need to peel out as they leave. i think everybody needs to bring eggs next meet and then whenever somebody peels out as they leave, we all hurl the eggs at the car.
at any rate, pretty fun meet.

I got there at 2:49...so everyone was gone. i came with my white stock lookin fastback and my 2 friends with a kouki s14 and grey sileighty. I only took 30 pics, cuz there was no cars left. Most of my pics are of people too, haha. I'll post my whack pics later. :lockd:

Thanks for doing stupid stunts as people were leaving; next year perhaps we should just not have a meet since these things keep happening.
No group picture (last year we didn't have a picture as well) because Shine Street's parking lot holds about ~40 cars and we had over 110 this year.

This was my first Shine st and a lot of you guys had some sweet cars! I thought my car looked good untill I pulled in the parking lot, I felt like I was driving a pinto.LOL. Someone on the Nico forums sugested to bring eggs next year and nail the ass holes as they burn out, I think a 12
gauge would be more effective.

maybe if people would fucking leave and not just block the exit for about 15min straight as my car and my friends car were runing out of gas, i wouldnt be so enraged as some girl and her "initial d" poser friends were holding up about 15 cars trying to leave! jesus christ! the last place i think rush hour traffic will be is at a sports car meet. Theres only one exit people and about 100 cars and you people have to block the entire exit as you discuss what arcade your goin to go to now before your poser convoy leaves the event. Just get out of the F**** way! pull over! dont block everyones only exit from the event and you wont have people doing smoking burnouts cursing and honking at you wastes of human mind!!!!PULL OVER!!!!!! :wackit: :ughug: :rl: :rant2:

ahhh ok, im just disappointed cuz i rinsed off my car (too lazy and cold outside to do a wash) that morning just for the picture. o well.
hmmm i didnt really see any stupid stunts (we left around 2:15pm), just a bunch of pointless overrevving as the cars pulled out. :goyou:

Actually given the situation, i'd be annoyed too since my maf is funky and if i sit and idle for more then 20 minutes it goes and stops working. yay!
But ya lisa, he has a point even thought he said it rather crudely dont block exits. :ughug:

Didn't realize any of our girls were blockin exits.... we only parked where we were told to....
and I didn't ask if they were fuckable...I ask who they were? That way if it was our girls I could bring it to Nadines attention.

remember when there was a longa$$ line of cars waiting to get out of the culdesac (sp?) ?? it was the girls up front and one of em actually got out of the car and chatted with another driver up front. i think thats what hes talking about, but i could be wrong.
i had no complaints though, it was a good photo op with all those s13/s14s lined up. :bigok:

Since I busted out a rant I'll respond accordingly.... flames can be directed to me in person if you have the balls to.
Alex, just make it private next time. Too many showoffs.
I would, but then might as well have no event. Will @ Shine Street (a high school buddy of mine) loved the turnout but hated the fact that people had to show off their lack of self control when leaving. He's never had any problems with any Honda-Tech meets at the shop and only has had problems with us. Go figure, all you Honda haters.

A few points:
- If the line is moving and your car burns gas like crazy, perhaps it's not a good idea to idle for so long? Try using more than .01% of your brain to think this up.
- If you don't know them, please don't label them as poser. I hardly know you and even though you have thrown every possible insult at me and my friends I don't respond with the type of language that you dish out. Or are we still living in middle school here?
- If they were blocking and not moving, perhaps you can ask them to leave kindly? Have you ever considered asking instead of cursing? Common courtesy goes both ways.
Again, if there were a problem why do people insist on causing more problems instead of SOLVING the problems in the first place?
Bottom line is, if you want to start shit do it somewhere else, just not at one of my meets. If you do want to start shit wait a few minutes and let me invite my cop friends, I'm sure they can use the extra cash.

that would be a negative, i didnt make that statement. Tho my hug icon means "cant we all be friends" Rodney king.
Since i was not there when the alledged blocking occured, i threw in my 2 cents. Really people if some one is blocking up the line i'd honk or get out of the car and then go up to person blocking the way and tell them to get out of the way.

It depends on what's on the bottom of the cliff.
This sort of ranting and complaining about people burning out or "peeling out" seems to happen after every meet. Its inevitable its going to happen. Which only leaves a few solutions: 1)Those that complain stay home. 2) Meets shouldn't be held. 3) Enforce rules. So what if I peeled out when I left the first time, actually all I did was go about 50% throttle and stop at about 4500 rpm. But now that I think about it, what I did wasn't much, except I feel like fingers are being pointed at me because complaints are being made with generalizations.
Besides, if you drove my car you would floor it all the time. Think not? Trust me you would. :D

So you're saying just because it happens it's ok? You stated that "everyone and their mom" was telling you to peel out, and you did. Do you give in to peer pressure that easily? Or perhaps you just had to get everyone's attention so "you can look cool." Nothing personal, but by doing such things you're just making yourself look like a fool. And no if I had your car I wouldn't floor it all the time.

Well, seems like I am fighting a lost cause.
You guys do whatever you want at future meets, but at any meet I host if you want to act stupid I will not hesitate to kick you out of the venue.
Justify your actions however you see fit.
BTW I never singled anyone out (I purposely was VAGUE about who did what because I figured I show them courtesy by pointing out what should not have been done so that it could be prevented at future events) but I suppose the courtesy is bypassed.
I would enforce rules but it's hard when I cannot name the driver(s) nor find the driver(s) that were causing trouble. How about at the next meet (either Wheel Choice or summer bbq) perhaps I should just start the banned list by adding two people onto it? Or is that too drastic?
Either way take my comments for what it is worth. I have been doing this since 1998 and I rant because I figured you guys were smart enough to learn something.

Don't be an idiot. your stupidity can spoil it for everyone else. Whats worse is you're trying to justify doing a foolish act. Grow up. Just because you are stuck in traffic do you have to burn out the 50-10 feet that you move every few minutes? NO.
