I have about 3 spare KA's just sitting around and want to get rid of some of them. I have got quotes from FedEx freight and they want something like $400 average to ship a engine. I know people ship stuff for cheaper, so if anyone knows the best/cheapest way to ship big items please let me know what your experiences have been and the best way for me to go about doing this. I have a business, and could use that to my advantage if anyone know info pertaining to that. Thanks!

I'm doin business here in Chicago. When we have big stuff to ship we usually use Service By Air.

We use them for body kits and such. I haven't done motors, but I've seen em hauling fridges. Their trucks all have lift gates, so I don't think motor(s) would be a problem.
Not so sure how their pricing structure goes, but they're worth a shot. Nice place to work with...Always on time...

They actually have a location in Colorado. Here's their addy and phone # so you can get a hold of em:

Let me know how it goes...Hope it helps out.

Mark, have you tried shipping Greyhound? A lot of people do that for body kit pieces, and it's like $50 to get most packages on a bus. Only caveat, is that the person needs to go to a Greyhound station and pick it up when the bus pulls in.
