From Taka Kaira of course and you may defintely add they cost me that much. :coolugh:
I suppose you could argue the hole serves some aerodynamic purpose but I couldn't really tell you. Maybe the documentation that came with the mirrors might say something but I can't read it. I'll try and get my brother to translate it for me.

I assume they serve aero dynamic purposes. The mirror seems small, is it the size of the stock mirror? Other than that, they do look good.

Never really liked those but I give you props for getting them. I'm more a fan of the small little ass mirrors.

Nice, my friend found a set for cheap used, but they had no glass. I am also curious about shippment time, etc. from Taka Kaira, thanks! Can't wait to see them on the car, how do they fit in relation to the old mirrors?

Taka Kaira was as easy as any other online store to order from. Ordered the mirrors last Friday and recieved them yesterday afternoon packed appropriately. Depending on if they're in stock will vary this time frame obviously. The mirrors were in stock and I was notified within 24hrs and had the opportunity to either go ahead with the order or cancel at that time.
The various e-mail confirmations you get from them makes things a lot easier on your mental well-being, especially with the amount of money involved.
One thing though, their tracking system didn't seem to work but don't worry. It's shipping out when they say it shipped out. I've heard this happen to other people so I was kind of expecting it.
The mirrors are actually not that small. Larger actually than I thought, which is what I prefer. They won't be going on the car until the car is ready for prep and paint.
According to the Ganador page on Taka Kaira they're suitable for RHD and LHD so we'll see.
I have a black S14, 1996 to be exact. I had a ton of pictures of my aero and stuff coming off the truck and being unpacked at my home but for some reason I can't find them anymore.
:duh:
So I'm in the process of taking more pictures and I will have my progress and other various crap on my website (http://www.240sx.net) if anyone is interested. Thanks for all the kind comments.

Worse even though if you had those Craft Square ones, those things look like you could just knock em off the little pole jutting out.
:duh: I just realized you were talking about those:hs:

Hey!! I got those. I like them. Most people around here don't even notice them, which is a good thing to me. I must say that the mirrors are set up for a RHD, but the rigth side mirror is no problem. As for the driver side mirror, I got one of those stick on convex mirrors and I can see everything now, no prob. Before, the car took up half the view in the mirror. I've actually had them for a couple of years now and haven't had a problem. If you have any questions on the install, just shoot it too me.

yea, those are nice mirrors! I might get those when I get my G-Four kit put on and painted. Veilside also makes some mirrors like those. They might be cheaper, but I dont remember. They are probably close in price. What aero kit do you have? Also, let us know how the fitment and viewability is!!!

Those mirrors are dope. The motto to use when buying stuff for a Nissan is "You get what you pay for." And well: those mirrors are j spec as hell man. thumbs up

Hey s14slide, did you have the instructions when you installed yours? The reason I ask this is becuase there are some suspicious illustrations in the documents that kind of lead me to believe there's a trick to installing these on LHD vehicles.
There are also some extra insert type things that came with the mirrors too. The papers show them installed but it's unclear to me of their purpose. Obviously, I could be wrong, but I plan on getting the install docs translated before installation just to make sure. I'm going to do everything possible not to ghetto-fab my mirrors. lol.
Appreciate the comments everyone. :rawk:

Veilside mirrors are $350 a pair, and they are ganador mirrors, made for Veilside.

If you're talking about my mirrors, yes they are powered. You can see the wires in the center picture. :loco:
