Has anyone ever seen these/had experience with them? Particularly in a 240SX. I'm thinking about getting a pair for my car.. either the:

IMO they suck. Suck fabric, suck support, and the frame is steel tubing that pokes you :mepoke:

Ah, so a search, there have been a LOT of topics like this with a LOT of good info. Sorry, i get tired of RE-posting the same shit over and over...

The only reason I suggest them is because they are cheap. The next step up is the Sparco Torino, which is nearly twice the price... :(

I searched... what do you other people think about Corbeau seats?

the WORST fabric i've ever sat in....almost the same crap quality you get from NEX, Aerospeed, Pep boy type seats, etc...It's really good at attaining LINT and all sorts of other junk...
after a couple months of use, you'll notice the fabric will start to separate itself from the seat cushion...

then, you have the frame that pinches your shoulders..

i'm 5'5"-5'6" 140lbs and i can barely squeeze into it without hurting myself...

there's your answer...they are cheap...expect them to be cheap...fabric, fit, finish, feel, firmness, function, fashion, filling, flow...you get what you pay for..simple as that...

I have the Corbeau A4's in my S14 right now. I really like them...not all of us out there can afford to suck the Bride "D". I'm 5'11", weigh 165 and have no issues with getting into and out of these seats at all...and I do so many times in a days period. I will say though that the fabris does seem to be pulling away from the seat now...not real noticeable in the least, but I assume it'll get worse over time. The lint catching comment is also true..big deal though. For the money I think they are worth it if you ask me.....here's a pic

...and hell in the end, you will have a nice as seat that you could have re-upholstered in the end with better material.

jsteed: So would I $$.

BlackS14: How did you mount yours? And do they sit any higher than the stock ones? Does anyone know if they sit any higher than the S14 stockers?

I have a Corbeau Clubman I've been borrowing from a friend for about 4 to 5 months now, the seat is probably like 2 years old at most. The fabric is ripping in about 3 places, I have it covered up with black electrical tape, it is also fading all over (it is in a miata, so gets alot of sun). Fabric on the back part is also going, but that could be because of age, I can feel the metal netting but its not a bother for me.

The seat could be too big for me (I'm 5"3), the side parts hit my shoulders, but I am now used to it.

what about these seats

the buddy club's are nice, but not for everyone. i have it in my car and it makes it pretty damn hard to get in and out, but they hold you really well. of course, that's provided you're not too big. i have a 30" waist and it's nice and snug in there. anyone with a bigger waist won't fit, heh.

its true. I had corbeau forza and they were garbage. you have to wear 6 layers or you'll be in pain from the springs jabbing you. and the cloth wore out in 6months.

I bought the rails Corbeau offers for the 240sx and with the sliders in....in short...HELL YES they sat way too high. I couldn't even really sit in them to be honest...but after simply unbolting the sliders and disregarding them, they sat absolutely perfect for me.

:squint: i was planning on getting those. I got a 36" waist. I guess my fat ass wont fit in there. www.ioportracing.com was my other option. They make custom racing seats to fit your dimensions. 600 bucks.

HAHAHAHA. Stop looking for excuses and cheap ways out. Call it sucking a Bride Dick all you want, but Dirty Dousan's Brix is 5+ years old and its got about 1.5 pin holes. One due to a cigarette smoking Japanese dude who had the seat first. I used to think the fabric was faded pretty bad (Black/black/grey model) but the OLDer Brides were infact a shade or blueish/Purple, not a true black. Cushions are not warped, side bolsters are perfect, stitching is perfect, padding still comfy, springs still firm not sagging.... hehehe. This is after over 5-6 years of use.

Shiiiit not worth it!!! I could have bought a couple Corbeaus or Sparcos for taht price and spend years on end jabbing myself in the ribcage and spine! Oh wait... did I say "years"? I meant "months" Since thats how long they last. Oh and his seat: $450.

I exclude my seat for the comparison casue I have a newer model Brix less than 1 year old. Got it Ebay seller who was local for $640.

These are deals EVERYone can get. Nokeone got his Brix for like $80 or some shit. Its a Brix I thoguh (different upper portion design, and some bad fading but its still a Brix. And it still works better than all those TUN3R seatz).

Bah... you guys are right, Bride sucks, its name brand marketing and they are over priced! :wackit:

There's an easy answer here. If a good one costs twice as much instead of buying two Corbeau's just buy one Bride or other good seat and tell your passenger to hold on. He/she has two hands free anyway right? :P

You get what you pay for, true.

I have them, I like them (A4). Of course I could of spent $X,XXX on something else but I dont care that much about seats. Better than stock, hold you in place, and I have Thai boxer pain threshold level 10 against thigh "charlie horses".

Im 5'7" 155, I dont have sliders on either side anymore (dont waste your money unless you are like 5'3" and have even shorter friends).I payed $470 sans sliders for a pair.

There is no way I would pay retail for another seat tho, too many deals out there.
