Testing is done. I'm gonna see how my turbo is with a crack manifold. If I still looking to trade after I'll repost a new thread.

This is more or less a testing waters.
So I've got this:

Garret GT2871R .64a/r ball bearing turbo. About 2k miles on it if not less. Haven't taken it off the car yet so no real pics. I'll get one of it mounted with the numbers. But I'm not someone the BS I have plenty of Ref that'll vouch for me.

I'm looking to basically a smaller turbo something that'll spool up faster but still get make lil over 300whp. So depending on what you have I'll be most likely ask lil $$ on your side.

Throw me some offers. I'm not really looking forward to shipping but if I must I will.

Edit: Okay since I've gotten a few pretty silly offers I'm going to say this is not for sale at this moment if you want to buy it PM me a Offer and that offer better be good if not I'm just ignoring it.
Trade wise. I'm looking more or less a something bigger than S15 Turbo. But ideally is what I would be really really interested in something like GT28RS

And again this is testing water I'm not 100% sure about this yet but if someone want to throw me a really good offer I'll take it!

You said your turbo has been upgraded to the larger exhaust housing. I'm assuming this turbo is therefore no longer a .64 but actually the larger .86 model then.

Is that correct? If so, just put the .64 housing back on. It'll spool much faster and is far better for that turbo anyways.

TBH Idk but if I had a guess 4k. Only hard drive it was on was it's trip from LA to the Bay area and when it was being tuned.

I believe it's just exhaust that's a lil bigger while the intake side is normally. But I want a faster spooling I autox on short courses so I need the better responses than power.

Bro, that IS the turbo thats basically one step up from an s15 turbo. I have one on my Pro-am car, that garrett 2871rs .64ar maxes out at like 350whp. you should have no proble spooling at all. hence T28
