That's funny the same day my alternator decided it wanted to stop charging out of nowhere your thread pops up, well as for your lights, the car is just running on battery power and the lights are drawing more power and the battery alone can't handle the car running and lights, mine coupe is doing the same thing right now and when I rev the little charge that my alt gives make every light up and run properly til the rpms go back down

the alternator hasnt been in my car for a year yet, its weird cause i could smell burnt wire but i checked everything and nothing, i had my voltmeter connected and it was charging at 14.1 volts, then when my battery light came on i checked my meter and it said it was at 11.9 volts and dropping

Figure anything out? I went out last night and started my car, the alternator was charging again at 14 volts, was your alternator working when you installed it?
