Reasoning: Truck has an exhaust leak now and I don't want to fix it.


Up for sale is my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. It's a great truck and my current daily driver, but it's really not a necessity for me right now as I won't need a tow vehicle for anything until I'm out of school. As of right now I've just been using it to get around campus and drive back and forth home (highway commute of 200 miles or so). On campus, it's just been hauling shit around for some side-work, and other odd jobs.

I bought the car from a gentleman who used the truck for cross-country commutes to Wyoming and back for surveying and supervising. As such, the truck has 19x,xxx on it and climbing. It was maintained on a company account and shows no mechanical flaws outside of normal wear and tear. Everything works great, and obviously I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing anywhere

then just touched it up when i got back from school with a hose down/meguiars car wash and got rid of the water spots by utilizing Meguiars Quik Wax as a nice little mid-wax additive, so it's not even as good as it was looking in March

I realized my mileage is no longer actual: The truck now has 209,632 on it as I sit here. I have put a lot of mileage on this truck and it still has yet to fail me or do anything. I've changed the oil, and had the truck up on jackstands to inspect the undercarriage, but this truck really does not seem like it has such high miles. My family doesn't want me to get rid of it, but my priorities include go-fast things for my other car, so this has to go.

Exhaust repaired locally with a new cat-back exhaust system with new muffler, etc etc.

Pending buyer chose not to purchase for the following reasons which I want to highlight to ensure everyone is aware:

1. There is a push-dent on the left front fender which I was told was from a small parking lot incident. I have a replacement fender that will go with the truck if it is not painted by the time it's sold.

2. The glovebox door latch sticks occasionally if pulled incorrectly. Can still be opened, just requires a little bit of Finesse.

3. The diamond plate piece on the rear tail gate is now missing and can be replaced from Advance Auto Parts for $19.99.

4. There is a CEL on the dash due to the O2 sensor that was fouled by the previously damaged exhaust system. I can assume that this simply needs cleared given the brand new exhaust on the truck.
