i need some help with this product i had it installed on Monday and the shift point from gear to gear was really short distance. Now today it feels like the distance from gear to gear travels longer almost feels like a stock. If anyone running this product having the same problem or maybe something broke. Any help or input will really help thanks

You're used to it or the bushing wore out?

Take it out and check, alot of people wear out the bushing by powershifting jdm style YO!

Some short shifters can mess up your trans as well.
Take out the shifter and check it. Also if you didnt bolt it on right that could have messed it up. The far two bolts are usually hard to bolt on (240)

Once you have it for a day you get used to it

Thats when you cut the shifter and drill out the knob to go down more, and again. Till you realize its as low as it can get

If it came with a bushing on the pivot ball, then I'd be willing to bet it got too hot and melted. You should have had the OEM bushing installed. They are like $4 from Nissan.

And to everyone saying your use to it I don't see how u get use to a shifter and not tell the difference if it has changed. Please explain

Neural adaptation.

Once you stopped paying attention and got used to the shifter, it doesn't feel as special anymore. Think it really has changed? Have someone with the same shifter measure their throw and then measure yours.

I know it has changed am in my car 6 days a week 12 hrs a day but I'm going to measure it with a car when I off and let the shop that I got it from look at it on it

Your brain likes to trick you. True story.

Measure it. That's the only way to prove something is wrong. Empirical evidence is your friend.

$20 says the bushing is the problem.

Replace that crap plastic bushing with a metal one then you won't have to worry about it, also I have had the same feeling when I first installed the shifter on my car. It was super short then kind of got longer but still better than stock shifting, go a head and put the stock one back in and then you'll notice the difference.
