I recently did a 300zx master cylinder swap on my s14. It was straight-forward for the most part, after install (with the flare fitting offcourse) I installed it.

The problem I am now facing is that the port for the rear does not pump out fluid from the MC. The right and left front do pump fluid though.

What I am saying is that the R&L front ports of the MC with on regular and one newly installed fitting pumps fine.

The rear port does not, I remember from taking of the MC from the 300zx that fluid came from the front port though.

I have no idea what to do, I did some research and I hear something called bench bleed.

Any ideas I really do not want to put my old MC on.

Thanks

Keep bleeding it...all bench bleeding does is lessens the time it takes for you to bleed the MC. If you can get to a junkyard, see if you can cut a hard line out...connect this line into the rear port, attach a rubber hose into it to run the fluid back into the reservoir and pump away. Eventually you'll get fluid coming out of it, assuming the MC isnt bad.

Basically something like this:

Or you can just disconnected the back line, pump the brakes till fluid stats coming out of the port. The only thing is make sure you dont squirt fluid on your paint since itll eat your paint and you have to make sure the reservoir doesnt dry out.

Why would fluid be coming from both fronts and not the rear?

I disconnected the port from the master cylinder for both fronts and upon pressing the brake pedal, fluid squirted right out.

Nothing comes from the rear port when I press the brake though....shouldn't pressure be coming from all 3 ports when you press the brake pedal?

maybe its fucked, i bought mine brand new and i love it for a good price compared to FRSPORTS.......Centric Brake Master Cylinder From Z32 (http://www.z1motorsports.com/240sx/product_info.php?products_id=4692)
and it came with the 3d fitting premade for NON ABS, my pedal feels awsome and it actually does not lock up so easy, stops alot better!!!
