I got this car through a family member who ended up w it after my aunt passed away. As it sits at the moment it is not running. For those familiar w Mercedes, and especially the older models, the keys and lock cylinders tend to wear out and lock up. That's is what happened to this and nobody took the time to try and fix it do the car has sat for a little over a year. It's about a $200 fix through the dealer, or try and find one at a junkyard w the key and swap it out.

Onto the details:
Car is a 91. Has 150,000 original miles. It has the inline 2.6 wich r supposed to be very reliable motors. Has new things like, water pump, fuel pump and Bosch cap & rotor. reg is a year passed due. Never was paid after my aunt passed

Body wise:
The car is an 8/10.
Has no dents whatsoever, just some fade on the paint. Has 1 piece red tails. Factory tint

Interior:
Interior is a 8/10 aswell.
No ripped seats, fully loaded, 6 disk changer

Looking to get $1600obo

Plz no flaming or shitting wout the use of toilet paper on my thread. Find some baller late model wheels, fix the ignition n bause floss the streets.

just curious, why such a high price if its not running?
I mean, it's not really high.. it's just going for the same price as running ones.

Lol the panda paint stemmed from my younger uncle who thought he was getting the car lol. He painted them because the rear quarters were missing so he bought 2 at a junkyard and painted them black and had a set of amg monoblock aero wheels that were powder coated black on it for looks as it sat lol. And on these cars, u cannot release the shifter from park if the key can't turn to the on position.

I just started there because half the cars on Craigslist and other places priced in the same range are almost or pushing more than 200k, have dents and dings, and r the 4cyl model wich(unless it's a cosworth lol) nobody really cares for. Also I figured, for a lucky pick a parter, u can have it back up and running for very cheap. Plus it's obo but I can't let it go for nothing. It is a benz lol

aaaah good old 190e.
We been having these in the family since i was a kid.
Dad actually built a "190EVO" when i was younger, cosworth engine, getrag trans.
Man i love these things, daily drive one to this day, and cant think of anything i would rather daily. While im more of a fan of the 2.3 liter variant, these 2.6s run for effin ever, and got a very nice low end torque curve.

alright ill stop rambling im just very passionate about this chassis.... aaah.
GLWS my man.

Update: had a convo w a Mercedes tech in Glendale today. He suggested just pulling a steering lock housing from a junkyard and just purchasing a new tumbler and keys offline for about $30. Just some food for thought for a potential buyer cus if I have to go through the haste I might have to raise el priceeee. Anyways bump
