This is a meet to celebrate the launch of Nismolism.com. All cars are welcome but only the first 100 Nissans, Infinitis, and Datsuns will be parking in the lot.

This is not the main event, this is a meet. We will have music and food and a good time.

You all know the deal.
no Burnouts, drifting, stupid stuff, etc.

Lots of meets are bigger and better organised. You dont see those people running it posting their name all over it and having a "pre-meet" for the meet either. If you want to run a meet then take the criticism that goes with it and do what you can to accomidate.

Lots of meets are bigger and better organised. You dont see those people running it posting their name all over it and having a "pre-meet" for the meet either. If you want to run a meet then take the criticism that goes with it and do what you can to accomidate.

I have no problem taking criticism, but when someone says "The last nismolism fucked blowed," I hardly consider that criticism. If you read the thread from the last nismolism, I welcomed the comments.

That said, I also host the s-chassis k1 show/meet every year.

Good stuff, yeah the last one had some douchebags in the crowd but i still want to attend this year. How often do we get a bunch of s chassis in one place? Plus criticism is not really needed here, whether this things turns out like shit or it rocks doesn't matter, someone took the time to put this together and let's enjoy it for what it is. No need to deter people from going with negative comments. I'll probably be there again whether it blows or blows up, hahaha.

Yes, you've pointed it out many times. I noticed your conversations start out as "Hi, I'm John M***; the host of nismolism and s-chasis meet. You've literally told it to me 4 times. I appriciate you putting car meets together but I dont need the constant reminder. S-chasis is cool, there used to be drifter meets at that same k1 a while back but they were at night. I had missed those meets and when I heard a reasonable facsimile was coming back I looked forward to go.

My comments...I think your pushing this nismolism thing alittle too hard, why cant it just be a meet? Why does it have to be a pre-meet for the opening of John M***'s nismolism website meet? Now it went from "cool, a sonic motors meet" to a "who the hell cares meet". Make sense? Keep It Simple Stupid. Have a meet. Why? To have fun. Then at said meet tell everyone you've started a website to promote whatever the point of nismolism is and ask people to visit the site or give you a like on facebook, whatever. To me it seems like you host meets to boost an ego or something, I've been to tons of awesome meets and have no idea who hosted them because it's not who hosts it, its who comes to it. I'm not trying to put you down, but you've tried to start many meets and only one took off (becasue it's at k1) the rest wern't very good at all. If you change the spin on it I think more people will go and you will get the appriciation your looking for without having to walk up to everyone and ask for it.

I never said dont make a meet, re-read my post. I said make it better by making it simpler and more for the community. Did you go to any of the previous meets? They were pretty bad, good luck getting anyone to show up for another one. But if it was just a meet, and not something that sounds pointless they people will go. We need quality meets not quanitiy meets.

It was a decent turnout for those who stuck around. Had about 70 cars show up throughout the day. Gave away $800 in raffle prizes. Food was good.

Fontana Nissan meet was wack... bunch of broken cars came out and a hand full of cars that looked safe to drive. Not Fontana Nissan's fault though, just that the 240 community became gay over the years with broken everythings driving around these days. I did like their organization though, it was well thought out.

I don't see what the problem is with this meet, I generally don't like going to car meets since I find them to be pretty boring... but if you guys liked Fontana's meet then I don't see why the Nismolism meet was too different? Having that food truck there was freaken' awesome. And, the raffle, which cost SONIC MOTOR (not freaken god damn sonic motorS or sonic motoring or sonic fucking hamburgers) a ton of money was rad imo. Not that many cars showed up, but still there were a lot of cooler older cars that did show up.


And, name a bigger meet that's for Nissans other than Fontana?
