What oil do you guys use Ka24DE built motors?

I just broke in my motor hit the 1k mark and I need to change the oil. For all you guys with built KA motors especially people who track their cars what oil weight do you use and regular or synthetic? Thanks in advance for the help.

Ran non-syn for the first two oil changes. One after a few hundred miles (i'm paranoid but i believe most of the ring wear/seating happens within the first few heat cycles) Now i'm on synthetic 10-30, any decent oil and you should be fine. Do you have an oil psi gauge? I'd say that is more important than the type of oil you use.

rotella all the way. i run 5w40 T6 rotella but that's only because it get's hot as fck down here.
