Hey dudes.
Anyone in OC can recommend someplace I can take my dash to for repair? Any of you do that kind of work? Any ideas on cost? I emailed a couple guys on CL, but got no response.
My dash is fucked beyond belief and I want it re-covered. 4 giant cracks and a million small ones. Doesn't have to look OEM, just something not terrible.
Thanks.

For what your gonna spend to fix it.... just find a clean dash & buy it.

Your blog is pretty cool,I like the way the car is being developed

Thanks man.
Yeah that's OK, I'd rather let another drift nerd pick up an uncracked stock one. Even if re-covering it is more than some 20 year old dashboard. Besides who's to say another OEM dash won't crack again in a week.
I like Eugene's from his build thread.

Re-cover kinda like that is what I had in mind. Not specifically that material though.
I'll check out that shop though - any idea what cost I'm looking at?
EDIT:
This is my interior now.

Looks pretty bad top to bottom - I'm removing the sound deadening goo little by little.
Once it's wired, I'm going to have a switch panel, new gauges and buckets, and the floorboard will be clean.
And then THAT dashboard. Fuck.
