Has anyone done this? What about the motor mounts, are there adapters available, or, do new ones need to be welded on?

Any info appreciated!

wait, vg30dett? the one out of the 300zx TT? cause there is another, the vg or vq30det, I don't remember which, and its out of some other car.
Anyway I've seen the vg30dett before, but I don't know what it takes to fit it. I've never seen the single turbo one, but I have seen the clips for sale.

A V6 setup barely fits in a 300zx engine bay, It's going to be way more cramped in an s13. It's gonna need custom motor mounts, driveshaft, wiring.....

There are a few that have done Z31 motors in s13's so it's not impossible.....but possibly more trouble than it's worth for the money..

single turbo on a vg takes a custom hood with a huge bump in it. Its hard enough to fit it into a 300zx. I used to be a Z guy and its hard... nice torque and power band but it will be hard to drop that motor in a 240. Its been done but it cost alot of money... parts are alot more expensive then 240 parts also...

The VG is smaller lengthwise than a KA or SR. It's also about as wide as a KA/SR with intake/exhaust manifolds. There is a guy in Tampa (Secret Services, actually) making a vg30ett s13. He calls it the 300sx. The thing about the VG is that the intake manifold is in the middle, and it's a very compact motor. You will need custom mounts, driveshaft, and exhaust manifolds to run twin turbo. It is also high, and you'll need a cowl/custom hood to run it.

I saw that shitty one up on ebay with a stock hood.
