I have noticed whenever i jack up a corner on my fastback (usually a front), the door becomes misaligned with the body and is quite hard to open or close. I was wondering if one of you coupe guys have tried it out. Im dying to know. Even with a crappy strutbar in the back with lots of tension, i notices the car understeered less. I love the 240 even if it has a list full of weaknesses, best car for the money i say.

i remember a guy who went thru a road course really hard in his s13 'vert and the door actually popped open halfway through.

I have the same issue with my s13 FB. After I stiffened the suspension though I can jackup a front corner and pickup the rearwheel also. Whenever I pull into my driveway I pickup a rear wheel also. So the chassis is fairly stiff. (It's still nothing like the mazdaspeed which has an uber stiff chassis and it's almost scary pulling into the driveway and you feel the rear come completely off the ground)
BTW-I have front and rear STBs with HKS kg/mm and AGXs ::set to full stiff to handle the springs::

speed...top of second gear...maybe below..i think i had the 4.3 final gear too so top of second isnt same (im going slower) for folks w/ a regular final gear.
gawd i love that pic!
i wish i had a blingin body kit, full rear bumper and sideskirts would be HOT
i just know when you jack up s14, you can close door w/o problems ..closes smooth, solid
s13 you cant it get stuck when trying to close :(

i think coupe is mildly better...but still bad...mine would open and close easily but i could feel it rubbing...
I have this same problem... I haven't gotten around to fixing it from last fall, it's cold out lol. How do you go about fixing this? The door is a little hard to shut.

but in all fairness the mazdaspeed is what less than a ear old vs 10 years or so on the S13?

The Mazdaspeed protege also came equiped with a matching aftermarket suspension set up from Racing beat, so you really can't compare it to a S13 with stbs and non matching spring/strut combo.
