i just weighed my car the other day at my friends work (Mettler Toledo) in columbus, and all they do is make scales. anyways it weighed in at 3000lbs with me inside (180lbs for me...i know i'm fat). i have a 93 fastback with full interior, no power anything, and no sunroof; pretty base. i just thought all you guys would like to know. anyone else weigh theirs? maybe my car needs to get on the atkins diet...j/k

I think S13s should weight around 2650 + 180 = 2830
hmmmm you have a sound system and chrome rims? haha
Kind of seems a little high to me.

These are from the "NADA Official Used Car Price Guide"
1992 (DOHC)
Coupe - 2699
Fastback - 2730
Coupe SE - 2712
Fastback SE - 2747
Fastback LE - 2748
1993 Fastback - 2730
1993 Fastback SE - 2743
I dunno, I think these numbers flucuate every year because Nissan doesn't use the same procedure to determine weight. Maybe I am wrong......hopefully this helped some. (weights are not including the 180lbs you put for yourself)

No pics of my car due to lack of digital camera although my buddy has one...hmm, if you are in columbus you can come with me anytime and get it weighed for free and it is really accurate too. BTW, i don't have any sound system or heavy wheels just some old school fifteen inch rota mesh. i thought it sounded a little high myself, but the scales don't lie for my situation.

I am curious as to what others weigh as well. There is a meet locally here in Northern Calif. this weekend where we are going to the local scales to weigh all our cars.
I weighed my 91 coupe a few months ago and it was 2680 lbs.
without driver
full tank of gas
only option is electric sunroof
no rear seats or belts
no audio system
full JIC suspension
SR conversion
OEM JDM front end and side skirts
aftermarket wheels and tires
I was hoping for a lower weigh as my car really does not have much on it.

remove sound deadening
remove AC
remove spare wheels
get lighter wheels
lose bumper supports
you'll drop a grip of weight there.

Gas weighs a lot.. so if you have a full tank of gas it's going to add a bunch of weight.

yeah, i think that i did almost have a full tank of gas a least more than 3/4 full so that may have added quite a bit of weight. i don't know

Hmm that site lists 91-93 KA as having 8.6:1 compression ratio... I always thought it was 9.5:1 like the S14s.
Great... Now you guys have me wondering what my 95 weighs...
Its guna be a boat... with those 18's on there...
After my JIC 505S Ti gets here... it should be less :P
Thats it... I'm guna hit the scale tonight and post my cars weight... It's guna be heavu though I weigh 235 atm...

6 lb's a gallon X 15.7 =94.2 lbs! at 1/4 tank subtract about 70 lbs.
but the weights of 240's are all over the place it seems, the older they are the lighter, seems to be the trend. i have a feeling im going to be in for a let down if i ever weigh mine.
