Hey guys I did the s13 sr20 redtop swap into my s14, It has the ecu 62, Im running the stock rad. for now with one large electric fan on it. My question is I know I'm suppose to swap out the temp sensor! But what temp sensor am I suppose to swap? The one to the gauge or both? Also am I suppose to swap it with the s13 ka or s14 ka sensor I thought s14 but all my searches keeps giving me a mix answer. Next question is the thermostat, since it is a an s13 am I good to swap that with the oem ka for s13? Or is that not going to work?

and as far as the temp sensor it should be the motor only and you use the ka one and if you have a s13 you use a s13.

so If I have an s13 sr20 but the body is an s14 I need the s14 sensor to make the gauge work right? Right lol

does anyone know? Becaused I picked up a coolant temp sensor for an s14 and Im not sure if its going to work. The sr20 connector looks like it has one wire and the s14 one has 2? Also I swapped out the thermostat and tested the old one the old one popped open in the boiling water. Also I now have a drip from the housing dont know if the gasket sealer just hasnt dried completely is why. Any input would be great.

I dunno if tthis is the same with SR motors but on KA motors there are to temp sensor connectors, the single wired plug sends signal to your temp gauge on the cluster and the two pin connector (usually red, I've also seen yellow) is the sensor that sends the signal to the ECU, hope this helps ya
