Hey team,
Got one of these we are having a few issues with...
Problem.
No spark on 3 or 4.
Testing done.
Coil packs fine - Have spark on 1 and 2 (have tried all 4 coil packs on 1 and 2).
All coil packs have 12v and earth.
All signal wires have been confirmed good from coil pack to ignitor and then ignitor to ECU.
Car runs but only on 2 cylinders
Was running on 4 cylinders until factory manifold was removed for stainless headers. Only thing unplugged was Oxy Sensor which was plugged back in.
Any ideas before I go mental!

I'm currently having the same issue with the same tests, and I just bought a new ignitor chip. I'm hoping that's the fix, but I'll let you know as soon as I get it in... It's ring shipped right now.

Cheers man, I think I can borrow a igniter in weekend so will try.

Didn't fix my issue. But I did notice that the ignitor is getting SUPER F-ing hot when the ignition is on... Wonder what that could mean. I started I taping my harness to see if I could find a short somewhere but I didn't. I tried the spark test again and had spark in 3 of the 4, then it went back down to two. I may have even had it in all four at one point (hard to see by myself) but its fluctuating. I'm guessing that I'm having some major wiring issues or something. I don't know anymore.

Ignitor fixed my issue.
Check your wiring. Or if you don't want to deal with it, buy a pre-made harness.

I did continuity tests through all wires running from ECU to ignitor, and ignitor to coilpacks. All are good. I have 12V and ground on coils, and ground on ignitor. I replaces the CAS (set to TDC and made sure it went in properly) and still dont have spark on 2 and 4. I've heard talk about their being diffferences in redtop and blacktop s13 ecu's? I have a blacktop S13 SR20... possible wrong ecu? I've tried two different S13 ecu's now
edit: I'm also running a 95 Q45 ignitor, that is getting MEGA HOT with the igniton on. I burnt my two fingers to a crisp lol
