I recently had ray at garage autohero modify some of my knuckles. Before i install them I have aquestion to you guys that have first hand experience with daily driving with the steering angle mod. Is it sketchy whatsoever for daily driving would you recommend against it? I don't give a shit what you've heard from your sisters boyfriends uncle I'd like some input from people who have or do daily drive with the steering angle modification which is just basically moving your toe linkage inwards.

just the 'learning curve' i guess you would say about the steering.

There's literally no difference except you can turn In tighter places. If anything it might feel a little more responsive to your steering input. Also parallel parking in seemingly impossible places rules.

The car I drove with modified knuckles was scary. The slightest nudge of the steering wheel can fuck you up at higher speeds

It's sketchy as fuck on the highway if you get the bump stops removed. It also killed my buddy's front tires in no time because of the "changed scrub radius"... Or so he said. It was aligned properly so I don't see how it did that...

I never found it sketchy, just very very responsive. Just get used to them before you do any highway driving or especially drifting. Don't over correct and put yourself into a wall or something haha it's alot more angle.

I've been daily driving nothing but a pair of S13s with modded knuckles for the last 2 years. I modded them on one car about a month before the other. There was definitely a difference in steering response, but nothing that skurrd me.
The first 10 minutes driving the car, it might feel different, but not weird, IMO. Now it's a little weird to drive others' S13s without knuckle mods.

Tell your friend to figure out what scrub radius is. Modded knuckles alone won't change scrub radius.

As far as I know scrub radius has to do with the sizing and offset of you wheel, has nothing to do with the amount of toe your running.

modified knuckles will change how fast your wheels turn, reducing your steering ratio (lock to lock). this means that the steering wheel rotates less and the wheels move more than stock. so like others have said, at speed on the highway it might feel sketchy in the fact that it will only take the slightest nudge of the steering wheel to switch lanes.
