Hello, sorry to post this on a 240sx forum, but since my 03 altima is from the same family, i thought i'd get some good input here.
2003 altima, 4 cyl 2.5l auto 117k miles.
I bought it having a timing chain problem. It used to start but i would hear rattling. I opened up the cover and found a piece of a tool there between the chain. Since i had bought the timing kit, i decided to change it anyway. I lined it all up according to the FSM and the thing won't turn on. It'll crank but with no result. 3 of my friends have tried doing it themselves on my car and no luck. I myself have done it about 5 times already and am completely frustrated. There seems to be something different about this car that i'm not figuring out. I've done timing jobs on 240sx without any problems. Why is this car giving me such a huge problem??
Please any advice is greatlly appreciated.
