Like the title says i was looking at my roommates 200sx se seats and they are in great shape and are a lot more comfortable than my s13's seats, but i was wondering if they would fit in a s13's bolt patterns with little or not modification. has anyone out there done this?
any input would be much apprecitated.

I doubt it will fit. The 200sx is FWD, the S13 is RWD, and if you look down in front of your driver seat you will see a hump for the drive shaft tunnel. 240s have fucked up seating situation with the rails and all that.

you can always beat that hump down a bit though to help with fitment...i had to do that for my custom bride seat rail...lol..:)
I assume that the seats are the same as in my 200 se-r and they are not very good for support in the corners. It was a while since I had my 240, but I remember liking them more for the sportiness factor.

i was actually about to do this before i stumbled across a set of recaros for a kickass deal. The 200SX seats will NOT work with the trans tunnel side rail that comes with them. the outside rail will work i believe. but the best thing i can see to do with the inside rail is to actually grind the lil nubs that retain the actual part that bolts to the chassis off the S13 seat and swap the bottom parts of the rails............sorry if this doesnt make sense, im a lil rushed tryin to haul ass outta work.

kidinthehall-
yes, that does make sense to me, i might try it if i can get the seats from him, due to it being at a collision shop. it sounds like this is not a common swap due to the lack of possible upgrade besides just looks. any other opinions would be great. thanks....

k, like i said, i typed that as i was tryin to walk out the door. PM me or let me know if u want a lil more info on how to do it exactly. FWIW the old sentra SER seats bolt right in and are more supportive, but not quite as good looking
