i'm planning on using a stainless steel bottom mount turbo manifold on a sr20ve head
the manifold fits perfectly but the ports are off by 1/8"
now my question is ,can i just elongate the holes on the manifold flange cause it lines up perfectly with the holes elongated
or would this be a problem

I'd rather use a log manifold.

Yes, you can elongate the holes. I did the same for my Peakboost DET manifold for my VE conversion.

Was the manifold's inlet the same size as the VE head's exhaust port?
i.e. Did the ports match properly?

The VE's exhaust ports are the same dimensions as the DE/DET...
