I'm deploying soon and I need a place to store my car.
Somewhere that won't charge a boat load of money per month. Somewhere safe, secure etc.
Any places?
Does Pendleton have any storage lockers on it?

try Miramar , i stored my car there when i was deployed once. you should have access to the base, check out the 'vehicle storage complex'. $25 bucks a month because i was deploying and with discount if you list it as your primary operating vehicle. good luck

Was it indoors or outdoors storage?
I have access to the base.
I left my Maxima in East Miramar temp storage lot and it was fine after 7 months. You hear alot of people tell you all the horror stories but I've been on deployment 3 times in 5 yrs and all the Marines I know to include myself had no issues. Now only downside is if a wildfire starts. But even if you were there you gotta choose beside your life and personal possessions. I'm sure people in your unit have garages esp if the live in or around Temecula chances are they have a 3 car garage with a driveway.

outdoors storage. good size, if you have the right paperwork , military will pay for most of this stuff. take your orders, or get a letter that you are being deployed and you can save lots of money and almost anything you own. you can also try North Island. i know alot of people who left their cars there for months. its free , secure (its a military instalation) no pontential dangers around there, just get a long term permit from security, cover it up and thats it. its free lol.

I just don't want the car out in the open, submitted to the environment for 6+ months. Granted I have a badass cover for it, it still would be nice to have it indoors.
I also need to find someone to start it up and drive it once a month or so hah a

Check out the storage on 32 street, i know it has indoor storage but you will pay more! If not put moth balls under the car and in the tire wheels to keep the rats and shit out! You also can put them in the engine bay. I handled all of my units storage of personnel gear to include cars last year!
