where is this piece of the fpr supposed to attach to? i believe its to the intake manifold, but where exactly??

What engine is this? It should pull vacuum from the intake manifold. Preferably not tee'd off to anything. There should be various nipples on the manifold on either an SR or ka.

Any nipple on the throttle body that's after the throttle plate. And by default Nissan has the FPR T'd off with the BOV.

Rules of FPR vacuum:
#1 use a SOLO vacuum line. Nothing else attaches to the FPR source.
#2 use the shortest smallest possible piece of hose.
#3 attach to the closest source on the throttle body of CONSTANT vacuum.
#4 keep the line free of loops or bends that may be crimped or crunched shut during driving/vibrations etc..
