so i read the rules and i understand why but i dont like the rule of not posting in the marketplace til lvl 2 is reached.

i do not own a 240 nor have i ever although i own a KA powered Datsun 510 that i need motor parts for...... so i come here (and a few other 240 forums) looking for parts to buy and i cant post anything telling people what i need. i dont spend time on car forums unless im looking for info or parts. and like i said, i have never owned a 240 so i dont know much about them so i have little info to give out.

So how is a guy like me suppose to utilize this forum if all im looking for is KA parts? i would like to buy some but i cant let anyone know what im looking for.

i would maybe suggest having a dedicated WTB: section that new members like me can post in right off the bat. i think most of the problem the rules are trying to eliminate involve scammers/spammers selling items not looking to buy items as most scammers are trying to MAKE money not spend it. just a suggestion.

thanks for your time and maybe something can be worked out. meanwhile i still need parts for my SOHC KA-E........

This sounds like this should have been a PM to the mods.

This is posted right at the top.

Also, you need to post and be a contributing member to gain access to the for sale section.

This cuts down on scammers, as well as people who only want to use this forum for sale purposes.

There are plenty of threads that talk about KA/-T setups, so I don't see why you would have a problem posting on this board.

Also, there is an admin section for forum information at the bottom of the main message board page.

again like i stated..... i dont use car forums unless i need parts or need info. i have better things to do than sit at a computer all day chatting with people. im sorry to be so blunt but thats the truth.

If i need something, i use any means i can to get it. if there are no exceptions to this marketplace rule please have a mod let me know and i wont bother you guys again

/facepalm.............

this is why i am no longer on any sort of social networking channels....

who decided that this comment is funny or cute? Im not some little kid who knows nothing and pretends to know everything behind his computer screen im not a kid at all but no matter what site your on everyone always treats the new guys the same way.... i was serious about wanting to buy parts and all that happens if you ever ask for help or ask serious questions is some trolls come out flaming you for not "searching" or being in their club of internet cronies!

im sorry but its pathetic.

all i wanted to do was find some parts for my motor but i have to jump through hoops and give away part of my life to be able to do that... no thanks the parts arent worth that much.....

all i want is a mod to tell me that they will not change this or that my suggestion is a horrible one or that i can post in the marketplace.... THATS IT! after that the thread can be locked or deleted or whatever else you feel fit to do with it.

I don't understand what the big deal is just make 10 posts and than post post an add in the wtb section with the parts you need. if you don't like it GTFO, and furthermore you have a ka stop being lazy and just go to a junk yard

ignorant is all i can say... no where did i ever it say what im even looking for so what makes you think i can even get it in a junk yard you fool.... a leason i have learned is to keep your mouth shut if you dont know what your talking about and i try my best to follow that rule. you obviously have no concept of what that even means.

and no where in the rule that i read does it say to make 10 posts and your at lvl 2. how am i supposed to know ten is the limit? although the way this thread is going i should be there soon just with none of them being contributing posts..... QUIT wasting my time!!

i have stated my reasons as to why i disagree with this rule and what "could" be done to HELP, you are wasting my time and that is something i cant stand!!!

You want blunt? Okay, fair enough.

No, we are not making exceptions. You will follow the same Rules and guidelines as any other person in the world who signs up for Zilvia.net. Your inability to grasp this very simple concept is disturbing.

Have a nice stay.
