All of what you said does not tell the story at all....you just said...your motor was supposed to be a swap for another KA and it don't run.
What is wrong with the motor?
IS it a compression problem?
Is their a hole in the block?
Is it not "all there"?
You may just have a bad fuel pump or something.
Tell us what is wrong....and no...don't get too warped. Obviously you had to drive the car before you bought it and then decided it was a good deal.
Tell us what happened?

That Sucks Cock
I'm being ripped off as we speak. I bought a radio bracket from a guy from 240sxforums. I paypaled him via credit card account, but he asid he wanted a bank transfer. I thought it was a little suspicious @ firs but i did it anyways. so i paypaled him and 2 weeks later still nothing, no bracket and noe response on email. So i filed paypal fraud on him. Its only $15 but still
NO ONE STEALS FROM ME!!!!

if you could afford to replace much on a newly purchased used car, you should have paid you mechanic $30 to check the car before you bought it. he would have called b.s. on that supposed 80k motor

this makes it hard to sell my car with its swapped KA motor lol.
Poop.
Oh well, atleast my serial numbers on the motor and car DONT match AND I got the 98 intake and exhaust manifold in my garage lol. So you KNOW something was swapped atleast lol. If the dyno graph and diff numbers dont convince people it was swapped...well shit. Thats there problem I guess.

::story time kids:: ok heres what happened...i found a 240 on autotrader....the guy was asking 2750...i called he said the car was a pending sale or some shit, anyway, i wanted it really bad (looked great in the pics). so i told him i had cash and i was only 1 hr away from him. the guy told me the car had a minor dent in the passenger quarter panel, a blown head gasket on a 80k motor he just put in, new throtle body, etc. well. also: the car didn't run. so i towed it back to macon with me. ANYWAY. i take it to the guy who was gonna fix my head gasket, and he said that there is no way that is a new motor (it is the original). so i began to cry and want to beat that chinese kids ass...though i am a girl, i would sure as hell try! :smash: so i have been trying to call this kid. for some reason the kid i bought the car from seemed suspicious when he said hed throw all this shit in and sell the car to me for just 2250. and i was liek wow what a deal. when i got to atl. to get my car, there was a huge dent in the back, but i was like whatever ill fix that...so i bought it, bc my bf said i HAD to since we went all the way up there to get it. i was dissappointed, but bought it anyway...THE POINT:-> THE SUPPOSEDLY 80K MOTOR IN THAT CAR PISSED ME OFF...CAUSE IT WASNT THERE! ill keel him! :rl:

I'm about to go to court over some crap that I walked into trying to sell my car. Makes you think hard about what kind of deals you make over the internet. First car I sold online (ebay) worked out just fine now this one has got me in a lot of trouble. Point is, I don't trust people anymore.
Man, not much more pisses me off worse than somone ripping you off or stealing. Looking to rip me off? Go ahead and get some insurance so your SO is taken care of! :axe: :madfawk:
Some people are so dumb they rip you off by accident though...those ppl just get broken legs, lol.

turns out...my bf and i have been calling this guy for 2 days...and no answer, so john left some message saying something like if you have any dignity at all you will call back. so earlier today he called john, then me. the guy told me that the motor in my car now has 80k mi on it. well, when i got it the friggin plug wires were torn to hell and back, BUT some other plug wires were included. the guy working on my car said that the motor dosn't even look rebuilt. so im trying to just get the damn thing running, then ill move on to bigger and better things hopefully. oh yea, the guy i bought my car from DID offer to buy me some new plug wires! :boink:

ok here is my advice if you would like to recoup some of your lost money...
first of all..instead of going off what your mechanic thinks is "most likely" and "probably" and "doubts" about the motor and it's mileage and being the original in the car.. you need to get concrete evidence in one form or another about the condition of the car, all that is wrong with it, what it will take to fix, and any proof as to whether or not it is the original motor...
one way is to check serial/vin numbers on the motor and car..if they match up it's the original..if they do not then it is most likely a replacement...
then, get your mechanic to write you a detailed estimate of everything the car needs to be in good running condition...make sure it is complete and accurate...you would hate for it to be challenged and found to be falsified in any way...then get back in touch with the individual who sold you the car...and this time instead of being aggitated and upset about things stay calm and rational and find out if you can meet with him to discuss some things, to pick up the plug wires (which is a good sign that he is slightly feeling guilty already), or anything to require another face to face conversation...then, with detailed estimate (including reasoning behind allegations of false advertising) in hand, and a witness by your side, talk to the guy who sold you the car about it's condition and what he originally told you when you bought the car...bring a tape recorder (which wont be admisable in court, but is good for writing down the conversation when you get home later) and ask him again about the motor...if he says it is in fact a replacement with 80K miles on it (and you have since found that it wasn't) confront him on that fact...request that he pay for all repairs (in the form of a refund from your original amount), minus the head gasket, which you knew to be bad previously, and see what he says...if he refuses and continues to insist that the motor is as he says and whatever else then i would take him to small claims court...you will have, assuming you did as i said and it turns out to be exactly as you claim, all the necessary evidence to show that he lied upon sale and is liable for any damages incurred by his false claims...you have your witness to affirm your testimony...you have your transcribed tape (which the judge wont allow as you didn't get permission, but it will still look good to bring it up)..and you will have your mechanics testimony (most likely in writing) as an expert in his field...i would make sure he is certified...
anyway that is what i would do...any Q, just ask..:)

Unfortunately I've been ripped off hardcore. In a way, it was my own damn fault, I rushed things and was getting a little greedy. Should have thought twice about how much I trusted these scumbags. Luckily I was able to promptly repay all my debts, but now I'm now out around $1,500
Life has been miserable every since. That money could have purchased some very nice suspension parts :bash:
Those peices of shit better beware of a cocktail bomb flying their way if I ever find them. Oh, and I have no comment as to what this matter was over. Everything in this post may be completely fictional.
A big :madfawk: goes out to all the worthless, shady, scum-of-the-earth slimeballs who steal/rip-off people

right on! yea, well i agree as to what to do with this scum! anyway, i think he feels really guilty, having come down on the price of the car...giving me all these "extras" etc. i mean yesterday i asked him over the phone, i said there is not really anything i can do about buying that car, its done, but what i need to know is what exactly is wrong with it, if you know, you definatley need to tell me. i have to get in in working order for me to drive. well, i was at work when i talked to him...he called me...and he tried to explain some things, and to me sounded like pure bullshit! :bs:

if you didn't do an inspection of the car before buying it how can you not expect to get ripped? it may very well be a different motor in that car, and that motor may very well have 80k on it. it's not like determining the age of a tree by counting rings on the stump, you can't actually determine mileage just by looking at things. every engine runs a little different and an 80k motor can look exactly the same inside and out as a motor with 200k, depending on how it was driven/maintained etc... so before you scream ripoff do some homework on the car. remember you handed the guy the money, he didn't rip it out of your hand and run away with it.;)

well, this guy seems really guilty...you know you cant kid a kidder. cant lie to a liar...and i DO know how to lie very well....and well, i think hes full of it. i mean the guy working on my motor, said some orange shit on my throttle body isnt supposed to be there....but "joe"(well call him joe for now-guy who sold me his car) said he broke the gasket and its sealant...that works "just as well" anyway....im investigating more and more everyday!
