hi guys,i have installed an sr20det redtop in my a31 and it runs just fine with everything stock just a front mount ic and 3in exhaust strait with border max muffler..i'm wondering if i can swap strait an s15 camelback n.a. head with my det block?i would like to do this because i believe the intake and exhaust ports of the camelback n.a. head is bigger than the redtop and also i would think that the cams of the n.a. camelback is more aggressive too,the thing that i worry is that the camelback has vtc which my redtop does not so would my stock ecu be able to run with the swap?:bite:

Cefiros are awesome!
And, though I've never tried it, I doubt it's worth the time/money to try and swap a nonturbo s14 head onto a turbo redtop block.
Why not just port your head and get bigger cams?

NA heads may flow better but the turbo heads have larger exhaust valves that help let the turbo breath. I know its been done before, just cant remember 100% off the top of my head whats the difference or what you'd have to modify to run an NA head. Something with the oil galley not lining up correctly for the tensioner...
