View Full Version : How do you remove s14 se wing?

Im lookin to remove my wing I was just wondering to anyone who as done how do u go about it? just un bolt from trunk or anything else?
on the bottom of the deck lid there are 2 bolts on each side I think 9mm just unbolt thats all

hmm....I'm having some trouble removing mine. I managed to take it off just fine on one of my cars...but with the other one...that damn double sided tape is strong as fuck. I guess I have to wait until its warm outside, so the tape will be nice and soft.
Northeast winter SUCKS....soooo cold :-/

the bolts are 10mm

if I tighten it, will it stop the rattling?

.... if its loose then yes... it would stop.
on a side note: My car is out of gas, if I put gas in it will it run?

actually you might be going the wrong way. many people think the rattling is coming from the rear spoiler, but in actuality the center light piece has a big problem with rattling. if u remove it and put some kind of absorber it would stop rattling. that is, if that's the problem.

I just have on other question... when unbolted there will be holes would rust be a problem or how who i go a bout making it look clean??? body shop??? ive seen some nasty rust off of fastbacks. would i have any issuse like that.

line the underside with sheet metal, bondo, primer, paint...like 30min max..
