So i bought a s13 with a s14 swap. When they swapped it they used s14 headers down pipe and second cat. Im told its illegal to have 2 cats on a car that only comes with 1 stock. So the cat just broke were the flanges connect the cat to the headers. . So do i buy a s14 down pipe. Or s13. What was he suppose to do when swapped.
any help appreciated.
thanks

there shouldnt be a difference as long as you use a header or manifold from a de and not an e. i had an s14 ka in an s13 too.

I have a new exhaust. 2.5 tubing and hi flow cat but when it was being done the exhaust guy told me to get long tube headers off ebay to delete the cat for now then when smog comes back up buy s13 headers and down pipe for smog. Idk whats the cheapest way out so i can drive it dailly still.

im sure you can get a stock exhaust manifold pretty cheaply that you can throw on there.
