i just picked up a 91 s13 hatch and i want to swap a 1jz anything i should know that might give me trouble that i can clear up before i drop the engine in any helping tips or words of advice would be sick thanks

thanks bro that helped out for sure ill post updates once i start putting this car together by the way i have the v-LSD in the 24sx do you think the diff will hold up to the 1jz's power or should i look in to upgrading the diff cuz i know my self to have a heavy foot so ill be beating the shit out of it daily lol

VLSD will hold up but make sure you do some preventative maintenance like changing fluid and seals also make sure your sub frame bushings are in good condition as those are going to be taking the most abuse with the additional power.

I agree. Most of the "needed" things are in the JZ swap thread.
It is a good idea to have some new bushings throughout the car.
I've had a VLSD in my JZ car for a few years now no issues.
