So lots of us have wheels that cost as much as the car they are on and I would like to discuss what some have found for locking lug nuts or locking plates? to keep would be thieves at bay... now we all know that most locks can be defeated with the use of a socket hammered onto them and that the more common manufactures have limited amount of key types so its easy to get the key.
Serious discussion invited, not the place for the usual zilivan bs.
If you know first hand what companys out there have a unique keyed lock set please post it, or if you have found a different solution than parking in a garage and watching it with a shot gun lol

get a tilt sensor to your alarm!
You could block your own car when you leave it for a while... that would make it hard to steal also.

lolololol. Serious discussion broski. Hypocrite much? :blah:
All lug nuts/locks can easily be removed by getting a socket and force hammering. That's how wheel shops do it all the time.
Best way to protect your wheels? Carry them with you and leave your car on jackstands. :goyou:

PBM spline drive lug nuts, one of the best $100 purchases I've made in a while. The spline thread are exposed on the open end of the lug for easy torquing but the design makes it damn near impossible to remove without the specific key which is used for EVERY lug nut, not just 4. Plus they look damn good too!

Me likes^^ well on my 99 prelude I had all wheel locks and no regular lug nuts, I did drew myself one time and forgot the keys at home and I got a flat tire on the freeway in Vallejo, had to wait 2 hours for my bro to come get my house keys go pick up my wheel lock keys and come back, luckily a CHP officer came around and blocked a lane so I wouldn't get crashed into

Gator socket makes spline drive lugs pointless.

These make almost everything else pointless too. if they want your wheels theyre going to get them unless you have a good security system or are a light sleeper.

Gorilla wheel locks are the only ones that neither of those above tools will work to take off. they have an outer shell that spins seperate from the lock and makes it impossible to use a gator or bolt extractor to remove them.

you do realize that PBM is available to everyone?
and im willing to put money on the fact that they dont have unique keys for every lug set
4/5 different lugs for each wheel

PBM's are the same as "tuner" style lugs from Lordco here.
project kics seem to have a good idea with 7 sided but the bolt outs will still take them off.
Tilt alarm hooked up to a air horn. the longer the horn blows the better.

Yes that's actually my gun, No that's actually not me (he unfortunately is my friend).
MOSSBERG PROTECTION PLAN!
P.s. chiboy002... All lug nuts are available to everybody, what's your point? I doubt somebody is going out of there way to buy a $100 lugnuts just so they can have the wheel lock to steal my wheels. First of all they are broke, hense why they are stealing and secondly that's one hell of a plan & for all that effort, they can have em!
Haha WRRONNNGG!!!

if you have rims that almost cost more than the car itself wouldn't it have been smart to invest in an alarm system ? not trying to be smart but an alarm should go off as soon as your lug nut is getting a socket hammered onto it, 2 way paging alarms aren't that expensive either.

I got lugs off eBay that came with a spline drive for $18. There's no real way to save your wheels. If someone wants your shit, they're taking it. Locks only keep your friends honest. I suppose you could "boot" each wheel. Most boots cover the centers of the wheels. May not stop them, but it would be a serious pain in the ass to get around.

When they tried stealing my old s14, they didn't give a damn - they straight up tried to take it with a tow truck in broad day light repo style, only thing that stopped them was they got scared my neighbor came out and my car was perpendicular to the street
