So my t25 took a crap today and I wanted to get a quick replacement for my sr ... I was looking for a turbo maybe a t28 I really want a s15 turbo but I gotta get other stuff for the car as well so I wanted to get something similar the car is a dd
And sometimes canyon slug ... but I don't plan on over boosting or making anything above 300 hp ... so I was thinking of getting one of those Godspeeds t28 71r but I seem not to find any sort of reviews about them but a couple .... I wanted to know if anyone in here running one of those and what is your input about them .... are u satisfied ... was it really a direct bolt on .... Ive heard ppl need to modify em a little ... idk and want to make the right decision ... thank u.

why dont you rebuild the T25 for now. and save up for a legit t28? Godspeed turbo aint worth the amount of time and money you will throw away.

Thanks for the reply .... thing is I can hear the fins hitting the walls inside the turbo I am not sure if that damage will considerably risk the failure of the rebuilt ....

I have heard that the balance on godspeed turbos are terrible but ive never seen one long enough to see how long they last. I tuned a ka with the fake 2871r on e85 and was still only able to make barely over 300. I tuned a rb25 with a godspeed 60-1 and was only able to make around 350. Now i dont know what intercoolers these guys were running but im wondering if they may have been godspeed too (probably were something cheap considering the turbo choice) but i tuned a sr with a garret 2871r and was only able to make about 330 hp. We got out our laser thomomoter and the intercooler was heatsoaked. I asked what kind it was and the customer said godspeed. So their intercoolers suck, their turbos probably do too. I havent been able to make the expected numbers anytime godspeed turbo componets were used.
Some may think, no big deal im not after max power but you have to consider why is the output so low? How bad out of balance is the wheel and how hot is the air?

I'm not sure how anyone else made out with these so far but I got a really good deal on the Isis t25/t28 upgraded stock style replacement, so i bought it and it's been doing really well for me. Bolts right into the stock location with no modifications and definitely feels stronger than the stock t25, just make sure to grab an afr gauge because mine was running about .5 to 1.0 leaner than normal when I first put it on
