This may be a dumb question, but here goes.
I was looking to get the HKS Hi Power cat-back for my car (s13 KA N/A), and well the only thing that bothers me is this.
I was searching through posts and I can't remember (or find the post again) but someone called it a "Melon Shooter" or something of that nature.
Well I know its because the larg tip (112mm I think)
This got me thinking, have any of you ever heard stories or had experiences with people putting things down your exhaust?

I've never heard any stories of that. Is that what your afraid of? I guess around here people dont mess with other peoples cars. You could always get a silencer to make it harder to put something in.
That would be pretty funny if someone put a melon in there and it shot out and cracked a little civics brand new bumper.

The only reason I bring it up is beacause that comment
I always hear something like that about big tips.
I don't know, I guess I was just bored here at work and that came to mind

well. around here my friend has the greddy evo on his civic, and it about 115 mm. He has never had problems with stuff being put in there. Heeeyy, that gives me an idea.

I wouldn't worry about it too much...if there is a clog in the muffler, the car simply won't run. It won't do something crazy like build up pressure and blow the motor. It won't even start if there's a melon shoved in there.
Well, if it's not too tight or heavy, it might be able to blast the little thing out of there...but a tennis ball or cantaloupe isn't gonna let the car start.

If you want an S13 Hiper, and would like to buy me a new exhaust, you can have mine. I want something different, but when I got it, the harbor strike was going on, so I had almost no choice for exhausts, so I got the Hiper because I needed exhaust. Driving a car with no exhaust = noes.

Yeah that happened to someone I knew on a forum I used to use. It didn't hurt anything though, just kind of a biatch to clean. Either way, it depends on where you live... I can't see that ever happening to me, but you never know.

Try to find the book "Manifold Destiny." It was a cookbook written about 15 years ago, full of techniques and recipes for cooking food under the hood of your car.

As an avid user of the infamous search button, I'd just like to point out that 90% of the threads that it turns up are just a question then 10 more replies saying "use the search button". Because of this it's actually a bit less useful than it's made out to be.

The search button doesn't really work that well sometimes. Especially on exhaust. Main reasons being that people don't thoroughly title their threads, they use one word, etc. Also, people often write out letters, etc. wrong. Such as FLT-A2, but they'll put flta2... so that f's up your search. And BOV, Blow off valve, blow-off valve. Another bad thing is that ppl randomly will mention things with no info on them. I was looking for cars with LM GT4's and still haven't found any using the search feature. All the threads that come up just have someone saying "you should get LM GT4's instead of those rims." Lastly, there just aren't that many threads on some topics, such as turbo timers. But yeah, if people would title their threads better, it'd be a ton easier.
Anywho, I'm goin with the Blitz NUR Spec R exhaust for my SR swap, its full stainless so won't get a hole in it or anything like that, and noone really has it which I like. I don't like the dual exhaust systems, but that's my personal preference. The only places I could find sound clips were here (in the tech section) and on HKS's website.
To get ideas of what there is available, try these places:

www.phase2motortrend.com
www.horsepowerfreaks.com
Between those you'll find anything out there that's a real cat. back system. Otherwise you can just buy any muffler and have a shop weld it onto some crush bent cat-back piping that they make at the shop as well.
